is anyone surprised? classic pvp is incredibly unbalanced and sticking arena it would result in the biggest QQ ever, even if they say from the start “dont expect any balance”

Not surprised in the slightest.
Only reason I put it here to to put the question to bed, as I had seen a few people and topics talking about it.

okay, name a comp that beats 2 mages arcane 2min mega burst? for 5k
2 boomkins with wild growth, and starsurge/starfire crits that hits for 3k?
they cant even balance a character correctly for BG’s, What makes you think they’re even remotely capable of balancing characters for 2s 3s and 5s?
5s is just rogs and mage groups.
2’s is just 2 mages doing arcane bursts to people.
3’s is just 2 healers and 1 broken dps, or just triple dps of the same class nuking people.
Tbh double ret could prob blow up almost any team in their full duration bubble since there is no MD/Shatter and it only affects swing speed tbh. Then again i havent logged in SoD in probably a month so maybe i missed a change so i might be wrong.
Sucks how badly SoD flopped and was abandoned, i personally dont have faith in this dev team providing any good new raiding experiences, but i would’ve come back to do some arena with my friends even if it was just skirmishes with a tabard/title reward or something.

double rogue absolutely dominates ANY 2 classes in classic at 50. Who knows at 60 but right now double rogue is just god mode.
Boomkin isnt even good in pvp its just REALLY good in rando bgs where people stand there and let em get off long casts

Double boomkin is a super easy 2’s comp to beat. The second you touch a boomkin they die
