I use the Twitch App to keep my add-ons up to date. Anybody else having issues with launching it? I’ve reinstalled it twice but no luck. When I open the app it just stays stuck in it’s initial loading stage. I’ll check with Twitch’s website but I figured I’d check here as well.
Try deleting the appdata folder for it and relaunching. Sounds like the likely source of the problem.
I think I figured out my issue. I always do a clean install whenever there’s a driver update from Nvidia. Then I usually go to the Control Panel to change the default preferred graphics processor from integrated to high performance.
I guess I forgot to do that with the most recent driver update & the Twitch app didn’t like it. I changed some of the settings for Twitch also & I think I’m good for now. Thanks & I appreciate the reply.
the twitch app has really messed up any apps it updated today. Bagnon, GTFO, and Titan Social all have the ‘classic’ game version number in ‘retail’ and Healium has the ‘retail’ game version in ‘classic’. The twitch app is also having lots of issues finding addons.
Same. Twitch gave me classic instead of retail versions of a bunch of add-ons. I had to go back and reinstall the right versions. Very annoying.
I could not get twitch client to download the current versions. I had to manually download them.
It does not look like the client is even connecting to curse. Wonder why it worked enough to download/ install the classic versions.

I encourage everyone to do the same. The more people that log a ticket like I did the more it gets through to Twitch that the problem is on their end and not a user-specific abnormality.
If you look in the twitch app at your installed addons the classic version will all be “113.25” or something whereas the retail version will be similar to “8.2.5”. Reinstalling the wrong version auto-fixes.
Completely exiting and restarting the Twitch client appears to resolve the issue.
