Of course you did @ 215 ilvl, stuffs just trivial in there for you.
I’m 203 and I too did layer 1 in an hour
It’s not more of gear it’s more of how you pick your anima powers
And in 3 months, everyone will be 215 easy.
There you go. Like Mage Tower, wait it out.
Not that gear matters much. Most of my damage was from Anima multipliers, I was doing about 1500% of my usual DPS.
There’s no affixes on floor in twisting, at least not in the early layers. Can afk wherever.
Apparently I cant post anymore, or can I?
My main is a healer. It’s hard to do this stuff fast as a healer.
Yes there is. Layer 8 you get bunch of stacks. Probably like around 27 by the 18th floor.
Yeah higher layers but the guy I was replying to was talking about entering full stop.
Im not replying for myself, I’m still debating if I am even going to step foot in there. Have the loin quest on a cpl toons. So from this post, people are saying you can do 18 floors in an hour. Doubt it.
1 hour a layer was the standard that I did when I did my 8 layer grind, if I didn’t get distracted by something else (like the forums) part way through.
I’d say 90 minutes, at least early on. First couple floors feel like regular torghast, you get an epic power from each boss (Every 6) along with a normal stream of powers from rares / mobs etc. By the end you have 90-100 powers and if your spec is capable of something bonkers youll almost certainly have access to it.
That’s because they chose the right anima powers while progressing
Doubt all you want but if you don’t have a balance of defensive and offensive anima powers, you’ll have a bad time
When I had 3 minutes of wings at each floor, I literally started mass killing left and right
I had anima power where your movement speed was increased by 80% without combat, because I threw an anima cell at a night fae hostile target
The floor was cleared without a sweat within 5 minutes, because I had to go back and loot all the stuff I didn’t get while going on a killing spree
Honestly it might just be how the powers are distributed for priest but it quickly becomes impossible to not take defensive powers. I have 100+ powers by the last floor I can’t go glass cannon even if I tried.
Well, in case anyone wonders, I am ready to pass out–and I thoroughly abhor this content. Hence, I left my 18 floor run on the 13th floor.
As far as I am concerned, I want the soul ash for a second legendary I want to upgrade. My main is a disc priest and I don’t play shadow. Hence, I am really peeved at Blizzard for setting me up for the equivalent of sitting in a dentist chair for a few hours a week–maybe more. The idea of having to do it all in one shot is nauseating, really.
I suggest you go experience before hitching yourself to the complain train. You might find people are exaggerating again.
You don’t get Soul Ash from Twisted Corridors.
The main draw is a mount you can use in the Maw.
If they had offered unique transmogs as rewards, I’d be all for it. As it is now, not touching it. Rewards aren’t worth the time or effort required.
The reason I entered this place was to do a quest for soul ash.
There’s no soul ash in TC…
Twisting corridors doesn’t provide ash beyond the quest this week (Which doesn’t require a clear). It exists to be done by people who want to for mounts pets toys etc.
Also disc genuinely feels easier than shadow.
