How the f that Twisting Corridors has 18 layers???
It noramlly takes me more than an hour to complete a 6 level trogast solo run, so I was expecting an 1 hour run!!!
I started the Twisting Corridors at 6:00 pm Sydney time, facing the final boss at 10:30 pm and I FAILED. WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE???
I am a lvl 199 resto druid player and i ran torghast with balance druid.
I am very new to this game, just started to play this game from this expansion, and I AM enjoy everything except torghast. The problem of this Twisting Corridors is, it takes too LONG !!! And the cost of failing is too expensive!!!
I hate this torghast thing from the beginning, itâs time consuming, itâs repeating the same thing over and over again. I could have spent my time on something way funnier than this, such as raiding, mystic+, PVP, and mount/transmog farming. I would never waste my time on this if I knew there are 18 tedious levels!!! Oh, guess what, there are 8 of them !!!
I apologise for using the language like that, but this game is frankly speaking, not very friendly to new players, and I AM trying very hard to learn. If this game is only for hardcore players, then why the f didnât u say so? Or at least put a sign in front of Twisting Corridors that says âONLY FOR PROFESSIONAL GAMERSâ.
Once again, whoever designed a 18 lvl torghast shall be fired.
If you manage to get the offensive power ups eventually nothing will matter. but i think it wasnât intended to be clearable by most within the first month and some change.
If doing a layer 6 in Torghast is taking you a hour⌠thatâs a good sign youâre not geared enough and/or skilled enough to be completing that level of content.
If youâre having issues completing Twisting Corridors then donât worry!
I would agree that it does take a very long time. It would be awesome if you could save your progress like a Raid allowing you to re-enter and pickup from your last floor and saved anima powers.
I donât know about Resto vs Balance, but maybe you should have tried it as resto instead, since from my experience yesterday doing it as a Holy Paladin makes it seem like it was tuned a lot lower for healers than dps. Mob and boss health pools were larger, but it wasnât any more difficult than a layer 3 of the normal Torghast wings. It did take between 2 and 3 hours, but it was still surprisingly less difficult than I thought it would be, though of course that was layer 1. I do wish there was a big pop-up warning about the length before queuing, since it wasnât until layer 7 before I realized what I had startedâŚluckily I had enough free time yesterday to keep going, though had it been other days I would have had to have bailed.
They will probably do what they did for the regular wings and nerf TC for faster completion. Lots of people are getting wrecked by final bosses and they know going through 18 floors over a couple of hours for nothing isnât sustainable for that content.
Literally everything in the game is optional. This point means nothing. Why would blizzard release content that isnât meant to be doable for another 20 ilvls?
