Here’s my take on this. You’re wrong for doing that. Blizzard is wrong for allowing that toon to transfer. Rather than a 6 month ban they should transfer your toon back and refund the money. Or even just transfer the toon back and keep the money.
it can go both ways tbh it can lead the people who are doing 110 bgs (mostly legion accounts) to buy bfa which gives blizzard more money so im basically helping them
I get what you are saying, but it does seem unfair to those who really don’t want to pay for the new expansion. But not ban worthy if they are going to offer those transfer services.

what i think is they should do is just make stats like leech avoidance and speed not work in bgs
And versa. That was the major outlier in a twink vs heirloom geared player in lower brackets.

There are people here who come in and hate on twinks for no reason. Some people hate just to hate. There are haters for all almost all aspects of any game or anything for that matter.
However, to answer your question, there are people who engage in that playstyle in order to grief people. Nobody can legit deny this. Those are the people who give it the stigma that it’s been coated with. It causes those who do not fall into this bucket to get blindly painted with the same brush.
There are people who do not hate twinks and get categorized with those who do, myself included. Some people just have different views on how they should be implemented or handled and it’s misconstrued as hate. That’s where the other side of the spectrum is highlighted. Since you have angry, close-minded people who do not support twinks, you have supporters who are the same way. Those people do nothing more than reinforce some of the more common stereotypes.
And gearing is not the whole objective of the game. That may be YOUR objective but MMOs can have all kinds of objectives. Not to mention, when it comes to that aspect, gearing is only 1 of the metrics involved. If you’re engaging because you want to be competitive, play with others who want to be competitive. From the sound of your GD post, you put forth a lot of effort to be competitive against casual players.
From the conversations I’ve had with Alliance twinks and this posters comments in the 110 Alliance Twink in-game Community, this person didn’t like facing me, so I can lean towards this assessment.

If you wanna twink, you gotta learn to enjoy facing other twinks! Its part of the deal.

Blizz whole game strategy with catch up mechanics, gear level cap , scaling etc is to prevent ppl from having a huge advantage over others regardless of however skilled they are or time they are willing to dedicate to the game . Maybe back in vanilla it was not this way but this is how it is now so it’s not surprising that Blizz does not want god level twinks camping an entire opposing team .

Yea at max level it makes sense because you need to win to get much from pvp. While leveling, you get decent honor even from losing a BG. Now they made it even easier by removing twinks imo.
Yeah, I like twinks, but this is not even close to “Hey, go run a couple dungeons so you can be competitive,” like in lower brackets… and you know it.
