Twinks = no new battleground growth. Ever

This game is 13+ minimum. It is not for young children.
Actually it is really bad for young children imo but I digress.

This is not a game for children. It never has been and never will be and pushing it from that angle is asinine.

It is not the job of the community to watch itself it is your job to watch out for the child. Playing along with them is one thing but forcing them with strangers is another.
I hope your kid found a group with other children. I assure you no guilds I have ever been in would ever be ok with a child running around freely with a bunch of strange adults. Neither would any responsible parent.

Who the hell lets their six year old play WoW?

I started playing the game when I was 10 too. only difference it was 14 years ago & guess what buddy there were just as many twinks back then. you think I went crying to someone after getting 1 shot out of stealth by an ambush saying “Eff this :crying_cat_face:” f*** no. I had love and enjoyment for the game, growing up playing D&D, that I made myself better. I learned how to use keybinds instead of clicking, and how to face certain classes. I climbed the ranks of PvP from dying before i could even keyboard turn around, to becoming a multi gladiator. because thats the effort I put into the game. you think progress should be taken or given because another 10 year old 14 years later comes along crying to dad saying Eff this I don’t wanna play anymore :sob: make me win or I quit?

That’s the question now isn’t it? Helluva necro. My next question is who lets their 10 yr old say “Eff this”?!

Should have been more clear about that statement.
The game being detrimental to children in general is not the same topic as it not being made for children.

On topic is: Children interacting with adults is no. This game made for at least teenagers. Nobody wants to babysit for lazy parents.

The other topic is: letting children play games at very young ages for long extended periods can cause developmental problems.

Blizzard needs to make a new game, rated M, credit card only to play. Go go.

I agree with most everything you say but there are families that play together and I don’t have a problem with that.

Definitely agree with this.

Maybe that is what is wrong with me. Parents said sitting and playing your games for that much isn’t good for you. Turn that off! Then I proceed to watch tv for a few hours.

I don’t see any harm in family’s playing together. Tbh it’s the best way to play this game. With friends and family.
If someone wishes to run around with their six year old that is their prerogative and we nor blizz can control that. Easy to lie about age and all. But man does it not change how irresponsible that is. Especially for a game that used to be based on socializing.

The ‘games being bad for kiddos’ thing is a different kettle of fish. Host of problems caused there not just from the social aspects of the game. People, especially these gamer parent types, tend to gloss over that subject a lot.

Stop sitting so close to the TV!! It’s bad for your eyes!! You’ll rot your brain!!
Mine always shoved me outside.
