Twinks are Ruining Battleground Queues

RPG PVP is about brutal 1 shots on your opponent. If you massively outgear someone they suck at PvP. If they get 1 shot they are bad at the game. It’s not your fault you spent time getting a godly weapon because you understand what WoW is about.

People that complain about being outgeared are just bad PvPers. They really are. They lack skill as a gamer and aren’t real gamers. They complain on the forums instead of playing the game and getting better at it.

Honestly it’s funny how they have that reversed somehow in their brains.

You know what I been doing while chatting in this thread. Working on my Valliance Rep for a BiS resil enchant for my Pally. It’s called playing the game and building a godly character for PvP. That is why we play this genre of games.

It’s just so sad to see bad gamers complaining about getting 1 shot by Twinks. That isn’t going to change at max level either. I doubt they will Raid, and get BiS gear for PvP and be back here yet again trying to twist it around.

NO WE DID NOT STOP! OMG how many times do I have to explain that queues do not pop because there are not enough of these twinks per bracket to fill out a complete game.

This is becoming abundantly clear to me that you are literally here to whine over the fact that gear matters… unless you are level 80, right?

And you still haven’t addressed why a fresh level 80 in quest greens can’t come raid ICC.

Come to think of it… unless you have like a what? 5.5k “gear score” people won’t even allow you into one of those heroic+ dungeon things.

So as I said, down with all gear, right? Or is it only gear below 80 that doesn’t matter?

some people find putting time into low level characters fun like a hobby, others not so much and then there are some who will probably never be the same after getting handled after showing up expecting it to be breeze cause it’s lower level content.

i enjoy the hobby

It’s not worth it, obvious troll that isn’t acknowledging facts.

As I mentioned above that would ruin WoW PvP because it’s an RPG PvP game. Gear and character progression is what makes PvP in this game better. It’s why we log in. We get an awesome item and we want to Que up some BGs and own it up. That is what RPG PvP is about but for some reason this weird minority doesn’t understand that.

They are just honestly playing the wrong game.

No! Hand everything to us! I want to be top shelf S-tier PvP player without doing a single bit of work.
That’s what these people remind me of. Just Lazy and want everything handed to them… unless it’s max level of course, then working for your gear is OK apparently.

I did it once recently on Retail before Dragonflight. I did free to play so I had no sub and my Twink was Queing into players with an active sub. The level 20 Twink bracket was so much fun and the people on XPOFF are pretty awesome overall.

Lots of fun though.

It’s a shame they killed the rest of the brackets in Retail by separating Ques. At least we have Classic to enjoy the game as intended.

Agreed. It’s not even worth it anymore. I’m with you on this one.
While replying, I was grinding out rep for a head enchant for my twink hunter, and farming gold for a token so I can continue to help carry lazy levelers who want to hide/afk and not bother to help clear the objectives.

You personally might not have stopped queuing but clearly quite a lot of twinks did.

And no I am not at whining that gear matters, I’m pointing out that twinks specifically engineer a situation where they are guaranteed to out gear their opponents by far larger margins than would be expected through regular play, that is not the case in arena or level 80 BG’s or regular BG’s. Which is why so many stopped queueing when they couldn’t do that in EXP off BG’s.

That’s what he’s saying.

XP-unlocked popped just fine.

The curious observation is that when xp-locked and xp-unlocked group together there are oftentimes more xp-locked people than xp-unlocked.

Which sadly seems to indicate that what twinks really want is to just curb stomp non-geared people.

Posting for my husband

I mean… bring a knife to a gun fight, and you kinda deserve it.
Gear up, or get smashed /shrugs.

Oh and twinks get smashed, too. I’ve seen the best of the best in the 70’s bracket eat dirt.

And yes, as a healer, I will heal the guy who is playing the objectives in their twink gear, over the guy who is standing around with 7k health doing nothing but whining, and not bothering to try and peel me, or steal flags, bases, lock down healers, etc.

We play to win. You’re welcome levelers.

Which is fair, but it does have a bit of a tendency to become super toxic which was what caused the split in the first place.

No one is shocked that this is happening again. Can just disable xp from bgs outside of AV at this point really.

Weird. I have seen way worse attitudes in the 80’s than I ever did in the twink brackets.

I can’t wait for all the broken gear next phase in PvP. Seriously some think low level brackets are hard? Wait till people get Shadowmourne and 100% Arp with Raid trinkets.

The same people complaining in this thread will complain about that. Fact is you got to put in work to be good at an RPG game. You gotta gear up, raid, do heroics if you want to compete in PvP.

They are making it easier to get Shadowmourne too but all that will do is increase the QQ threads and how it isn’t fair somehow.

You know what is fair? If someone has better gear then me, put in the work got BiS then they destroy me. That’s fair. I just need to put in some time in order to compete which again… makes RPG PvP better. It’s for the real gamers.

That’s fine but twinks explicitly engineer a situation where they will consistently fight under geared players to a degree that “herp derp get gear” doesn’t apply. This is why they’re twinking in the first place vs just playing normally and why twink queues died when they couldn’t do so in EXP off BG’s.

And that’s what’s being pointed out.

Oh no… no no… level 80 is fair!
It’s perfectly fine to have the best in slot everything, geared to the teeth because it’s max level!
Heaven forbid that anything in WoW that is not max level exist.
Seriously though, I can not wait to refer those same whiners back to these threads.

The gear advantage at max level is more then low level brackets next phase. There will be people Aoe globaling GY’s. It’s a gear based game though. That’s what makes it awesome.

/shrug the obvious difference is that at max leveling gearing becomes the objective and that at max level those geared players can’t avoid other geared players.

Twinking actively avoids both those things, it’s really not rocket science.

Don’t know about the other brackets, but from 70-79, gear is so easy to get, there is no reason not to, whether you twink or not lol.

I twink because endgame at level 80 general is toxic as eff.

Twinking is my endgame. Don’t like it? Don’t queue.

I mean, it’s so obviously a gear based game, otherwise how come my fresh 80 in blues can’t get into a raid group or even get into a herioc+ group? Because you need gear lol.
I mean don’t people even need to earn better gear in say… Diablo to play on the higher difficulty levels?
We play to get strong, not rocket science to me.

In my experience, it’s about the same, but even if it wasn’t…

This is a really really bad argument :stuck_out_tongue:
