So, low level BGs are saturated completely with sweaty, try hard twinks (Who are probably garbage in evenly matched pvp hence the need to twink)
The common factor is always that little Exp eliminated debuff that lasts 5 min. Pretty interesting that debuff, as it resets when you deal damage to someone. Twinks have been abusing this for awhile now, just queing up with the debuff on, keeping it on by refreshing it, and going through BGs with no penalty. So I have two solutions for this.
1st solution is make it where this little 5 min debuff can’t be reset. So yeah, if you twink into low level BGs you might have to leave halfway if you don’t want to see a match finished and get that huge exp leap that you totally deserve.
2nd solution is anyone with an EXP debuff on them, should be put into the twink ques until the debuff wears off.
I have done many bgs. I leveled from 25 to 49 solo queuing bgs for rep. You get next to no xp doing that, so it took months. I always clicked on every member of the other team and never saw this.
If anything, it’s a small problem, not a big one. These people aren’t even twinks. The twink is the player with xp off who they partied with.
The solution is for blizzard to fix it so that debuff is cleared on entering an instance. A very simple fix.
The real problem in lower brackets is party sync premades of 60’s who queue with a low level who doesn’t even have to enter.
How about if they queue with a low level who hasn’t accepted by 30 seconds before the bg starts they all get bounced? Or just eliminate party sync in bgs.
I am shocked this is still an issue Blizz isn’t addressing. From what I see and read, Next to no one wants twinks anywhere close to the normal low brackets. I hope they fix this for you soon. How ridiculous that this is a thing.
With that said, majority of twinks I’ve come across are really bad. I typically see them backpedaling, keyboard turning, and utilizing improper abilities at the wrong times.
I wont argue that there aren’t good players that twink, but from what I’ve witnessed, almost all of them are actually bad players.
I don’t have a problem with people twinking. Blizzard has decided they don’t want twinks mixed with xp on in instanced PVP.
My only issue with twinks are the ones who utilize certain methods to bypass that removal.
Otherwise twink on, I did it long time ago (think it was cata when brackets were 5 and I had a level 24 twink). Really wasn’t fair, shadowstep 1 shotting in single globals. Required a lot of skill on my part.
A good solution is allowing Experience off low level characters an official avenue to play, with direct access.
Give everyone an option to queue into Experience off brackets for greater rewards/currency.
Better yet, remove direct Experience and factor in Experience tokens when players are ready to level out.
If all parties are understanding of the higher stakes, why not?
I think you’re assuming too much. Take the OP out of the equation. Blizz made an XP locked bracket for a reason, correct? Tossing enchants on some looms just to casually level an alt is not the same when competing with fully geared twinks regardless of how little effort it takes.
The actual bottom line is that no one wants to play against people who are not playing the same sport as them. Again, I don’t think it really matters what OP’s gear looks like. There’s a valid point here either way
Not so fun fact: OPs gear is in no way close to “fully loomed”. How ironic that you actually typed that. I see no rings or enchants. Looks about on par with what I would assume most low bracket players are rocking for gear.
You’re also defending a demographic that is essentially exploiting a bug to remain in a bracket they were never intended to be in for as long as they are staying in it
If you believe that heirloom enchantments are a problem then you probably have not did any PvP in the brackets lately. None of the players accused of being a twink are even using heirlooms, they’re using best in slot equipment for their level that scales exceptionally well. Also, i’m not entirely sure what your purpose was behind pointing out someone doesn’t have a PvP ranking. That’s like saying you’re playing on Classic so i’m not sure why this even effects you or you’re posting here since twinking is completely different in classic vs retail.
I also find it amusing that you’re criticizing someone for :
get his rocks off by cheesing new players in enchanted loom gear because someone who put more effort in killed him lmaoooo
>
when the entire purpose of twinks on the XPoff brackets is to faceroll people with inferior gear to them.
The level 20 - 29 bracket is completely unplayable by most people who aren’t specifically twinks because there’s no chance of killing them in a one on one fight. But people will deny that, claim it’s not gear it’s skill, etc, etc.
Edit : But you already know all this and exactly why there’s a massive imbalance because you’re promoting the XPoff forums. So yeah, this is fine I guess.
So in other words, you think lower brackets need to remain broken simply because everyone has access to the same exploit… that is 100% the classic state of mind. Go back to the classic forums. We’re about progress and making the game more fun. Not living in the past just to suffer like you classic players want
I could be way off base here, but aren’t low level battlegrounds typically broken due to class balance and not gear? Like how much gear advantage Can you actually get these days?
Interesting to target me out… Zero, actually. I don’t think I will ever bother with lower bracket pvp, personally. But I spent a fair amount of time prior to Legion making level 20 twinks to play while I didn’t want to pay the sub fee. And I personally feel those characters I made had no place in the normal PvP brackets with non-twink players. So I have experience, and I have input to OP’s concern. If someone is getting smoked by people abusing a system to squeeze in where they don’t belong, I’ll chime in
Why does it matter how many times I have seen that buff used anyway?
Alright, maybe another opinion.
So it remains to be seen how often this is even happening or even at all.
Another forum friend Druid has done (2)100?s of Games + Exalted Reps since launch in specific queue in Experience on, they have not mentioned this as an issue. One bracket, no gimmicks.
Bottom line is it seems like a lot of work to risk dinging/fandangoing a well built Twink, when we can easily obtain very close to that power with leveling bracket crafted/boe pieces. Even with heirloom set bonus activated characters will be top of the food chain, Experience on. Trust Kang.
Queue specific and there is next to 0 for Experience anyway.
Playing with levelers in leveling brackets is fine and dandy, I do not want to take that away from anyone.
I would really like to see some options for players with Experience Off characters, which makes Playing With Each other more accessible.
Happens in every bracket sub 60. There are a few offenders and typically the same ones in each bracket. Most twinks don’t abuse the system, some do.
I personally don’t think gear progression should be a thing sub 60, so all players should be placed on same stat template. This way XP off can come back into XP on, people wont whine about scaled down 60s, and being on the lower end of the bracket wont be a disadvantage other than maybe a few missing abilities…
The only real issue would be the classic imbalance that is worse in the lower level brackets in comparison to max level.
Templates were terrible and disenfranchise this games roots.
Where we are moving now is looking better every day, lots to look forward to with the lower brackets IMO.
How does your main look? Do you only level in sub 60 and repeat?
