BGs are for PVP, not PVE vs some bots. If you want to PVE go slay some dragons.
Separating xp on/off queues results in two issues:
Longer queue times for XP-on queues, queues taking forever to pop in XP-off queues.
People twinking are just going to exploit their way inside XP-on BGs with XP-off or will stomp players and leave before the first XP tick happens.
You still end up with twinks in your BGs, except that they’re rarer and have to jump through more hoops to get in your games. It doesn’t stop anyone from twinking up and stomping a few dozen games every bracket.
Shoutout to the poster that’s dense to the point they’re incapable of understanding that getting toons to max level in the past isn’t equal to having toons at 120.
in a digital world, and with the advanced AI we have, it would be hard to tell the difference in most cases, and it might even be more difficult. Do you mean you want real people to put to the slaughter to make you feel more powerful while #gyplayerstompingintothegroundtoneverqueupinthisgameagain?
The advanced nonexistent AI we have? Unless you’re talking about the obvious bots that would run between bases in BGs like EOTS/AB, there’s not really any AI that’s been used in BGs. I want to play with and against real players, whether I’m playing at max level or at a lower level bracket. I want to laugh when some idiot overextends and be amazed when an enemy does a sick read or jump.
The game has so little flavor at this point and I don’t want it to lose what it has left just because you can’t deal with a little gy camping.
Oh and btw, I couldn’t care less about GY camping as I’d usually be running flags 24/7. If anything, the blind twinks on the enemy team that are camping the GY are making me a favor by completely ignoring me when I run by them and cap the flag. If you don’t like being camped, there’s two things you can do:
My 110 Warrior with ilvl211 has 1,384. No gems, no enchants and one leggo. Now go look at his Warrior on paper without procs, weapons swaps and flasks/potions. Hell, my 110 ilvl203 DH has 1617ap, psure you’re in blues/greens or confused.
Oh, he’s got…250ap, which is less than my 62 Feral in BoAs and honor gear =/. So no, gear isn’t the issue. Enchants and consumables? Sure. But they’re cheap and abundant.
Woah woah, battlegrounds are running rampant with BiS twinks running around globaling people. This is an epidemic and you should take it a lot more seriously.
People should have to put forth no effort to be competitive in PvP at any level, k?
It’s fairly easy to get if you have someone running you through BWL, and have it drop.
Though it is a solid sword and when it procs makes you wildly strong (up until a certain point) it’s not going to have a huge amount of staying power if you’re leveling.
This also ignores the chance of it just not dropping and having to wait until next reset, which if you’re actively leveling you’ll probably be out of it’s range of usefulness.
