Most likely a term coined from the snack cake “Twinkie”; a pretty, yellow cake with a thick cream filling, and most importantly, nearly phallic in shape.
49s will always be the best bracket
On every WOTLK private server, the 79 bracket dominated all others. You get almost all the 80 abilities without nearly as much gear grind. Plus you can do Wintergrasp.
79 was always my favorite bracket in wotlk for this very reason. Haven’t decided yet but I’ll either be twinking this warrior at 49 or 79 - who knows, maybe one warrior at each bracket.
Does the Classic twink community coordinate queue times between factions? I’m much more likely to twink on multiple toons if that’s the case - it’s always more fun to queue with and against other twinks instead of just feasting on low geared levelers. It also reduces queue times.

The bracket just before max level has had the highest activity for many years now on retail. Mostly because that’s the bracket that boosted chars will level through. With the exp on / off merger wrath classic will follow suit. 70-79 will have the highest activity and fastest queues by a long shot.
And anyone can compete with either full lvl 70 brutal gear or with the crafted boe lvl 78 pvp gear.
39s does this occasionally, i’ve seen it done on saturdays for the most part, you should check their discord though if you are interested in the 39 bracket

79 discord is brand new so you probably wont see much activity there till people start getting their 79s together
Just boosted my (2) Level 29 Paladins to Level 70 this evening Will be keeping them at Level 79.
Both my Death Knights will stay at Level 59.
Have (2) Level 49 Hunters.
Will raise my (2) level 29 Warlocks eventually to Level 39.
Will eventually raise my Level 29 Shaman to Level 49 and another Level 29 Paladin to 49.
Kinda wish mounts werent available at Level 20 now so that the Level 29 bracket is un-mounted. Not a gamebreaker, but mounts change the dynamics of WSG and I kinda prefer WSG without mounts … but I think the Level 19 bracket is the worst of all.

Ogrekill and i have had some decent games against each other recently in 69s. The only issue was the amount of bots.
