I was a twink for years in retail up until they made it impossible to twink again, and I want to do it again in classic for the community pvp aspect of it. Was the best time I every had playing wow. What twink brackets are the best to play in LK? 70? Advice is welcome!
It’s going to be subjective personal preference but I’d argue that any bracket below 39 is a waste of time.
My personal favorites are 49 and 59.
I heard 19 has people to play against… most of the time anyway
I’m going to make a twink at every bracket, both factions. I want to fight against other geared plays at all levels, not just stomp under geared players. I play Heroes of the Storm alot, BG’;s are my favorite part of WOW.
The 19s bracket is the easiest to participate in because it just takes a lot less time to make a twink.
The problem though is that not every class works well there because they are simply missing too much from their toolkit to counter hunters and rogues.
I always had a poor opinion of the bracket, but some players really like it, and it is likely the most populated one outside of expansion level caps (60 and 70).
That said, it isn’t a bad place to start, but I find higher level brackets to be a bit more diverse and exciting.
For the least amount of preparation/effort possible:
If you want to play a Hunter or Priest, 19.
If you want to play anything else, 29.
rogues have a trash kit at 19 what
I am willing to admit my recollection of the bracket could be a bit fuzzy. It has been a while.
I recall rogues being everywhere in the bracket either with 100% dodge (or close to it) builds, or just heavy ambush builds.
So it might have been regardless of their kit, but I’m old and such, and prone to forgetting stuff.
What were we talking about again?
Hunters and Priests are ‘S’ tier at Level 19.
Rogues, Warriors, and (healing) Druids are ‘A’ tier at Level 19.
Since Rogues scale better with Agility than Hunters, and Rogues have better weapons and enchants at 19 than Hunters, a twink Rogue has a higher damage output potential. But Rogues don’t have Vanish, Cheap Shot, or Poisons so Rogues are more vulnerable than Hunters (or Warriors).
My Rogue is 29 because it’s just more fun than 19.
I’m biased but my favorite was 60, for 51-60 AV.
Get those 80s friends to help you get BWL/AQ40 junk, fully enchant it then go ham.
- Twinking is just admitting you don’t have the skill to pvp on an even playing field. How embarrassing
19s will have the largest community with community wargames taking place from Benediction alliance and Mankrik horde. 19s also have the most premading twink guilds. every class is viable in organized game settings. be prepared to learn most of the jumps though. 19 fc druid get travel form and the guys that fc and know how to jump are going to make it a nightmare if there no debuff stacks on fc’s.
29-59 will be hit or miss but some of the best pvpers in twinking are in the 39 bracket. ive heard theres a community of 69s gearing up and private server twinks thrived at 79 before. no reason to think it wont eventually on classic. if you wanted to pug stomp i would go 79 due to likely faster ques than any bracket other than 19s. if you wanted community games 19 is your best bet.
Are there any higher level brackets with a real community? From what I’m seeing it’s mostly 19 and maybe 39, but I always liked higher levels for more talents and skillset involved
From what i have noticed is all brackets thrive. I m biased to 49s as i feel the balance is solid and there is a decent toolkit. Plus the bonus of not having dks. However, there is still an active 69 comminity and I have seen lots of chatter regarding 79s starting up.
