Now that we’re going to have no-xp BGs back, how many of you will be enjoying old-school twinking? 49s were so much fun back in the day and now that I don’t have the time for raiding I’m looking forward to the original challenges of twinking in Vanilla. Who else out there is with me?

Has no-xp BGs been confirmed somewhere?
I believe XP from BGs did not start until after Vanilla.
BGs didn’t award XP until well into Wrath.

We didn’t get XP in BGs until well after Vanilla. Unless the dev team goes well outside of their “no changes” philosophy BGs are going to be no-XP.
I had a 29 hunter back in BC who I had a lot of fun with.
Once I’ve my main to 60 and done some leveling on alts I’m aiming for 60 on, I’m going to look into doing another 29 hunter.

Honestly I had totally forgotten about twinks being a thing on Classic…They are not very popular on live because of the bracket being seperated…I used to have a 19 twink warrior, which I then took to the 29 bracket…Also had a 19 hunter which I also took to the 29 bracket and he was def. my most powerful twink.
I had a 39 Fire mage to which was pretty beastly, but I got destroyed by a 39 warlock…who pretty much killed everybody in the BG 
Wasn’t there a trick for 19 rogues that involved stacking dodge? A food, ring or potion, or something. I can’t remember what, but it made them nearly impossible to hit. They lost dps, but dodged every physical attack. +10 dodge comes to mind. ::shrug::
Dodge twinks were typically level 10 hunters or rogues who stacked dodge rating and agility. Dodge rating mechanics made it so that these twinks were almost untouchable for melee, they had 90%+ dodge rate. They stayed level 10 because the lower the level, the more impact dodge rating had on your dodge rate.
This was game breaking for all the derps rolling 19 rogues to pwn noobs.
For those invested in the 19 bracket we simply switched to a caster twink and blew the dodge twinks away.
I have fond memories of watching three corruption ticks dropping these fools in the Alliance graveyard over and over…

I’ll be there.
Had so much fun just building this toon. I think more fun than actually pvp’ing with it. It was the journey getting everything in place that brought the most enjoyment. Good times with some family and friends running each other for that awesome piece we needed.

Rating didnt exist in vanilla. It was just flat dodge% etc.
I’ll most likely be in the 19 or 29 bracket again.
