Okay so as you can see in the title of my post that this sort of thing really is quite a complicated matter and unfortunately I can see most people not really caring about since it is just low level stuff but tbh I think there should be some attention given to it. On one hand I do believe that people should be able to twink a character if that is what they desire. That’s their right since they play it. But correct me if I’m wrong because it has obviously been a long time but… The last time twinks grew this rampant was probably in TBC but even then I do not think it was this bad. And generally it was only in the 19-29 brackets. there were others of course but it wasn’t that bad. I do not know if I just had bad luck or what but as I’m leveling all I encountered was twink guilds that just completely dominated the bg. some brackets were better but it was still an issue that remained throughout my experience. But this goes back to things being complicated. People should have every right to twink but to people that just want to level by doing PvP shouldn’t have to encounter twinks all the time. To really compete you gotta spend thousands of gold on enchants and good gear to really stand a chance and even then it won’t do you good if you’re going up against a team. If this was just once every bg then that’s honestly fine to me. But from what I experienced it was more times than not. I really do not know what can be done about this sadly without upsetting people or being unfair about it but I do think it’s a matter that should be looked into. Especially considering I found that if you win your BG’s it can be faster for leveling than just questing.
If it’s instanced PvP you are referring to there are systems in place that actually normalize every player to a set level and gear. It’s a similar system as timewalking, and one of the reasons why level locked players were allowed to queue with leveling players.
