Twinked out Characters in lower level BGs

Are there any plans for getting rid of these characters that stop their leveling progress to build a god in PvP, effectively ruining the PvP games for others? A specific example would be the Hunter named removed . This character has been level 69 for quite a while. I am on my 5th character, leveling them to 70. Every single character has been destroyed by this person on their way to 70, yet they are still there and ruining PvP for everyone else. Is this going to be how it is for people trying to enjoy the game, specifically PvP? Do we have to devote months boosting a character into “god status” for us to have a fair chance at winning a PvP match?

cant lock xp after level 59 but there is a debuff players use to get less xp.
so are you bent out of shape over their gear, which everyone can get, or the fact they get less xp?
either way how does it affect you leveling? you get xp for a loss right? a handful of welfare honor too.

these people are using an exploit to stop getting xp all together.

nope. locking xp puts your toon into an entirely different bracket where only locked xp toons can que into. the big pink “XP” icon, if you mouse over it, says reduced xp.

of course theres a hunter in here defending twinks

that’s why people are using the exploit, so they don’t get put into the other bracket…

im also the same player who explained how to do this on this very forum so everyone can have fun.

explaining an exploit does not make that exploit ok to do lol

and in the 3+years this debuff has been around zero players have been banned for using it.
even me explaining it here, if it was an actual exploit, i would probably get some type of account action.

so if its not an exploit, it falls into the “feature” category.
see you in the gulch.

Such childish logic lol blizzard is simply bad at dealing with the stuff that does not mean that doing said exploit is allowed.

Unfortunately, people will do anything for an unfair advantage but in a few moments you will get a few people defending this behavior and tell you that it is YOUR fault because it is so easy to gear and be on the same level playing field as a Twink.

Thank you for making my point.

the OP posted on a toon that is technically a grandfathered twink at 60 soooooooooo………
its only ok if you win and not ok if someone else out twinks/gears you?

To me it is cringe and weak. If a player is truly good play against other twinks or level to 70.

Blizzard created two brackets to separate twinks from levelers.

If a twink is using a method to avoid xp gain so they can continue to roflstomp levelers, it’s pretty clear they’re going against Blizzard’s intentions.

Furthermore, it just proves once again that “twinks want to fight against other twinks, not levelers” was a lie.

This is the very reason I seldomly play my MM hunter, for the life of me don’t understand how people can enjoy beating other players so easy. Even on my level 70 hunter I feel like I have to shower after playing a few battlegrounds.

i think blizzard is well aware of the restrictions it has on players and what they allow. in my opinion they let things like this fly to keep a certain demographic happy and paying their subs. why else wouldn’t the debuff just get removed? it serves no purpose anymore. the same attitude is shown towards expansion capped twinking. for the past 3 expansions players who own 2 accounts have built toons playing the new expansion then transfer the toon to their “basic” account where they can play without worrying about leveling.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
their own literature states it can’t be done but the payment goes through every time.

No, because no one cares about sub-max pvp.

You are getting farmed by these people in BGs because Blizzard cares more about people level boosting others through dungeons and bypassing Blizzards paid level boost, than they do about you getting wrecked by people who properly gear up.

Did everyone forget that the XP Debuff you get when grouping with an XPoff character was originally added to prevent easy level boosting with an xp off character?

The funny thing is, twinks can still level boost with other fairly simple methods (I can presonally level an alt or another person to max in as little as 5 hours basically AFK)

What was originally intended as a nerf, has just been repurposed as a benefit.

xp on/off brackets separated > twinks move to level boosting > XP Debuff added to prevent boosting > twinks use same debuff to get back into battlegrounds

The cycle of life is beautiful aint it?

Stop being dumb its been fixed several times but ppl have found new ways to exploit it. its not a feature you know it isn’t so shut up with this nonsense. There is a reason when players turn off there xp they are put into a separate bracket.

I am tired of posts like yours trying to justify it when you and everyone else knows its not intended and will be fixed again at some point ( also will be broken again at some point)
So stop posting this obvious nonsense.
