After reading thru the latest round of anti-twink rhetoric I’ve come to a realization that I’ve seen on pservers.
Low level twinking is not going to be the same as it was. Not even close.
Most who wouldn’t even try to put any effort into low level pvp won’t even bother queing up.
That’s going to leave the few twinks per server waiting in ques that may take a long time.
Thus killing desire to que or even twink. May even be just lost time if you’ve geared up fairly well already.
We can not allow this to come to pass.
What I propose is the twink community pick a server. Keep all the twinking there. Otherwise twinking for bg’s may be a lost cause.
Now I personally intend on making a low level wpvp twink just for the fun of attacking people who are higher level. I think this will be where the real twink fun is. What do you guys think about how twinking is going to play out in classic? Thanks.
Edit to clarify: I’m not saying blizz designate a server. I’m saying the community come together and do it on their own.

Twinking doesn’t bother me at all as I’ll be leveled passed that point rather quickly.
I think the latter—twinking will be healthy considering how many love doing it and how it’s possible to do now. No need for a separate server.

Plus this. Twinking would be vastly different with a level 19 cap and 60 cap if I were to follow your example OP.

But I need a main to farm the golds and farm the lvl 60 head and leg enchants.
Not a seperate server. The community pick a server and populate it with like minded people.

Anyway, It’s hard to say IMO I can see this being an issue but, we wont know in tell were in game and how the server goes, early on i see ppl twinking and getting to enjoy it but, as ppl relize they are out there, lo lvl pvp will die out when it’s full of twinks, on some server’s. que’s will be longer but, not too bad for a dedicated twink.
Besides we dont want a server that is full of twinks, One of the worst things to happen to Twinking was playing with nothing but, geared twinks, capped at 19/29 ect respectfully, Twinking was/is about that feeling when you just decimate some one lower lvl, 1 shot a 29 who is not a twink ect ect without that, twinking is mute and, a server with nothing but geared twinks would be boring.
CRBG’s work at Twink levels too.
Twinks should and would totally role on a RP-PVP server :x, just putting that out there. But like with anything else, yea there most likely will get twinks to organize on a high pop PVP server like that normally do. No doubt it’ll come up when they actually put on Server list,

1 shotting lowbies is short lived fun. Now id that 1 shorting lights a fire under that player to seek gear and get revenge? Oh yea. All for it but seems that type of player is rare…

Even if L60 BGs are server prioritised, twinks should remain CRBGs.
Isn’t there going to be xrealms battlegrounds? I can’t keep track of what is in and what isn’t.
That’s assuming you dont have other ppl up and coming, What you have right now in Retail is what you are looking at.
Yes, it does come down to a select few main twinks you will find in the Same BG every time you que, (i remember quite well for BC days)
Let’s look at another Factor that killed twinks, witch is the biggest difference in classic, No heirlooms, you can choose between the best bow/gun you can get from quest/dungeon ect, No one is cookie cutter in classic, slight differences in health/dmg/Spell dmg/ (example warlock 110 bonus to shadow dmg vs a well geared semi twink lock with half of that who wins?)
Skill is involved again minor stat adjustment’s, minor tweeks in spec will hurt you or benifit you but, we all aint runnin around in the exact same gear 100%

Did they actually comfirm it? I think if anything it would be added in phase 6, twinking community will probably start around phase 1 so.
This is the brass tacks of it all. The tweaking. This is where the magic happens. This is what truely seperates players.
They should have been called tweaks but a bunch of nerd raging homophobes used twink as a slur instead. Ofc instead of taking offense the term was embraced. That’s thick skin. Lol

Twinking has been a thing in Blizzard games longer then it has in WoW,
D2 Twinking was a ton of fun, and that’s the first game i heard it on ages ago AKA the 90s

There are cross realm bgs. So it doesn’t matter what server you choose as much as you think it does.

Not only that, but they had it in the Beta.
It’s assumed “battleground mechanics” includes CRBGs.
It may not in classic but I’ve seen several threads, plenty of tears, and existing player knowledge is going to influence this classic experience.
People will avoid getting rofl stomped by not queing low level bg’s.
There could be a issues with low level ques.

Could be? Will there be? I’ts to hard to tell right now, Simple as that,
I’t really depends on the population of people that play, per server, How the Cross realm bg’s are set up (IMO i’t should go back to groups (Ruin.vs.w/e).) But, we dont know how many server’s we are really getting yet.
Again to hard to say, thing’s will go as they always have, the people will come up with something that works better per community, (if you split everyone up like that to raider’s, pvper’s, Twinker’s) and that’ll happen within a month or two of launch.
