Hi, Just curious to know why I am unable to Transmog the Twinblade of the pheonix with an enchant. I’d really like to put a Firey wep enchant, or Light of the Earth. However I am unable to. I’d like to know at least why I cant?
Some weapons with their own glow already, are unable to have enchant illusions applied to them.
It seems a little inconsistent to me that some weapons with glows can be enhanced with illusions and others can’t, not sure exactly what the glow cutoff is for adding enchant illusions there.

Exactly, I see other weps with their own glow, and I dont know what differs from others.
It seems to be purely arbitrary.

Historical aside: when transmog was first introduced in Cataclysm, there were no enchant illusions and you were stuck with what you actually used on your weapon.
In the days of Power Torrent and Landslide–obnoxious looking things–I made a point of finding weapons with their own glows.
I don’t think I’ve used Power Torrent on purpose as an illusion, ever, and I use Landslide ironically on my shovel/pick mining outfits.
I did that too. There were a couple weapons that looked decent with the obnoxious Cata enchants (like the clampy jaw 1h mace from Dragon Soul), but otherwise they were way too overpowering.
