Hi there, I never played in the older expansions and am pretty new to warcraft. I noticed the Twin Blades of the Deceiver / Flamereaper from the Havoc DH mage tower are a nice set of glaives.
Are these still obtainable? I heard there were changes with the mage tower and that it was gone, and back. I am pretty sure it is active right now, so if I complete it on my DH do I receive the glaives?
The original mage tower skins are no longer available. (People who unlocked a base mage tower appearance during Legion can still unlock the tints of it today.)
The mage tower is back with a timewalking version, but it has different rewards now.
This timewalking version of the Mage Tower was introduced in Shadowlands, but went away for a while when Dragonflight launched. It’s been re-enabled again. So, sometimes when you see someone saying “it’s back and you can get the rewards again,” they are referring to the timewalking version and the new rewards, not the original weapon skins.
