I’m trying to start the quest for Twilight Highlands so I can complete another quest I picked up from Island Expeditions. Called “Battered Twilight Scale”
I travel to Twilight Highlands to the quest location to notice I was phased from the NPC.
I researched how to unlock this zone, and I can’t start the quest to unlock the zone because I can’t select the Quest I need from the Warchief’s Command Board.
As it has for the longest time now. It’s only showing 3 quests availalble. I didn’t think this would be a problem until I realized, that half of the other zones are phased out also. I can’t even phase into Azshara, and the starting quest for that, the NPC’s disappear as soon as I enter the zone.
I tried looking for a bread crumb quest I found on Wow Head, about a starting quest in Grommash Hold in Org for Twilight Highlands. However, since Grommish no longer sits on the throne, there’s no breadcrumb quest either.
Anyone else now running into this issue?
Same problem, here for answers…sadly none. Don’t know why but having the same problem on my alt that I twinked during WOTLK and still phasing so I’m not sure what the problem could be.
I was having the same problem, I looked into my achievement list to see if I did actually do the starting quest just to open up the portal - and it appears that I did. I am now backtracking to see where it is I left off on the quests to make it not - phased. I can’t even enter Grim Butthole because I am phased in the area. I probably did the first quest to open the portal and then dropped everything else a while back. I recommend checking your Cata quest achieves under “Fading into Twighlight” to see where you are. UPDATE: I am trying to backtrack where I dropped the quests and it has lead me to Azshara- I have to do the quest “twilight skies” over there. SO if you aren’t seeing any quests in Twilight Highlands - turn your gaze to Azshara to see if you have anything there!

Updated update : that was it! I am now getting TH unphased. Take a look around Azshara to see if you have any quests there to get you to TH.

So, I just wanted to update this thread. I did get this resolved. The quest originally bugged, when performing the twilight highlands zepp ride, and that started in south east Azshara at the Goblin Zepp Tower.
I found the pickup quest at this Tower and was able to continue into Twilight Highlands resolving my issue.
Blizzard Helpdesk found this for me, once I found the proper way to submit the ticket
