Twilight Devastation

Yes, it was overpowered and I could see this coming. I mean we all could. I guess my gripe is Blizztard knew this well in advance. You could not look at that effect and NOT know how devastating that effect was.

Now putting that aside and the nerf is here. They basically took a Bull and turned it into a Steer. And because of that the corruption level needs to be reduced accordingly.

It needs to be reduced to 45 or 50 tops. It is not anywhere near in power so the corruption HAS to be reduced to reflect that.

It’s bizarre to me that they’re going around nerfing a bunch of corruptions, while leaving Infinite Stars alone… when Infinite Stars is still capable of being 20-30% of a person’s DPS and is worth at least 30+ ilvls.

It’s not overpowered they just nerfed the other 2 good ones so much that this one is the least touched one.

How often are you really pulling 5+ mobs…

I just don’t want Twilight Devastation costing me 75 corruption anymore.

Didn’t infinite, echoing and td get a nerf?

How often does it proc when pulling groups vs one mob. Or proccing when all but one is dead.

Corruption never procs for me - unless its an eye every other cast or a thing every time im tapped.

Are you really asking that?
I pull +5 more often than not.

You also only have 2 timed 15s.

Which is irrelevant neckbeard.
My post was to point out the corruption level needs to be reduced since the power of the proc was grossly reduced.

As I stated we all knew it was going to be nerfed and I never complained about it getting nerfed.

Even in high keys, not very often. I’d say a little less than 50% of the time.

Also I’m pretty sure he bought one of those keys, or all of them. That guy Oxyhottin resto druid in the Siege sells tons and tons of keys, he’s on my battletag.

The issue is if it costs less corruption you’ll just stack more gear with twilight devastation and being doing the same dps.

Making the nerf redundant.

That’s what they don’t want.

Except the nerf was barely anything. You’re not pulling 6+ mobs.

Did EV get a corruption cost nerf? Not that I recall (not that I actually got to have a piece with it)

Corruption costs need adjusted for many effects also if we are going to judge them by their performance…stat buff ones in particular should cost single digits

You are incredibly clueless. It still does a massive amount of damage. End of story.

They won’t touch corruption levels. It invalidates nerfs to corruption effects as noted above. You will just end up stacking more.

Twilight Devastation is about the exact same when dealing with 5 enemies, it gets weaker after that

Imagine if they nerfed it by making the damage split equally among all targets up to 10 targets, that would be a down right painful nerf. At least this way, it’s still pretty good

Stat buffs are better than you think. I know some Gladiator tier PVPers who want stat buffs more than they do Stars/Dev/Tendies.

The nerf isn’t even a nerf in standard gameplay.

Any reasonable level of M+ and pulling multiple groups is a wipe. Groups are very rarely larger than 5.

The only thing the “nerf” did was cut out the super cheesy high end. Dungeon Slice sims literally won’t even be affected by this change, and it overperforms in that like crazy.
