Running a couple of 15s and realising my twi dev isn’t proccing as much as it used to and as much as other people in my group.
Mine is just a singular T3 on 420 piece. E.g. My dungeon which lasted about 10-15 minutes due to a DC it did 2.08Mil in SoTS up to a first attempt on first boss (until tank DC). Whereas a rogue in my group who had 1 T2 and 1 T1 (yes I know they stack to become a T3) had 8.57 mildmg from it.
Casts are unknown on details.
Yes I was facing the correct direction.
Me being FDK and party member being Outlaw.
Is anybody else experiencing extremely low proc chances? My DH also has a T3 and it procs less than average since last patch/hotfix
My VDH with a tier 3 TD weapon has had situations where it does not proc once on an M+ pack that we are fighting for 20+ seconds. Then in the same dungeon he fought another pack for 20 seconds and got 3-4 procs in that time.
As the poster above me has said, the proc can be very inconsistent at times. I’ve had moments where I get a few back to back procs and others where it doesnt proc until we’ve finished all of the pack but the last mob.
Another thing is that the proc rate does scale with haste so if you play a class with haste as the lowest stat weight then it will seem like it procs less.
I still run 2 rank 1 TD but I’ve since swapped my other pieces for a rank 3 twisted appendage to complement them for some more consistent dmg when they dont want to proc.
TD stacks together. So 4 rank 1s will proc for 24% hp. It’s still really good for fort weeks and super fun on teeming. I just dont care for the inconsistency sometimes.
I think the only corruption that does not stack together and procs independently is the lash of the void from Ra-Den. Everything else should stack (infinite stars, appendage, echoing void, etc)
In my opinion, the issue isn’t if its procing or not. The amount of procs overall are pretty consistent throughout a run. The issue is that it can proc and you can’t see the animation sometimes, it doesn’t show up. That being said, the reason the damage can change from run to run is “when” it procs and how many mobs it hits.
So it could be procing, and you not see it and it proc when only 1 mob is left on a pull and thus it feels like the reason it didn’t proc as much is because its overall damage that run is less but in reality the avg procs over 30 mins is pretty consistent.
I use a weakaura that shows when people get procs and also tallies up the number of procs at the end of a key.
I notice myself (frost dk) and a dk tank always get the same number of procs (say, 37), while the mages, hunters and rogues i’ve run with got significantly less (26ish)
But over a whole run those numbers were fairly repeatable. Running Freehold 15 3 times yesterday, me and the tank both got 36-37 and the others got 25-28, every single run.
Just some anecdotal data but it was interesting to me.
i’ve felt this as well. I recently swapped mains, coming from a Havoc DH with a 475 Rank 3 TD, to this Frost DK with also a 475 Rank 3 TD. It’s not even a comparison. My DH gets twice (literally) as many procs as my DK - despite my DK running 1.9k base haste with a 1250 haste proc corruption.
It’s a nightmare, and i can’t figure it out. TD just doesnt feel worth using on my DK. ill end the same dungeon, same keystone with TD not in my top 5 dmg - meanwhile my DH will end with it doin 15 million more dmg and 25%+ my overall dmg.
Something IS wrong with the proc rate…I am a BM hunter standing 2-10 yards away from target, and I even tested on dummies for 5 minutes straight. ZERO procs for TWO T3 pieces. I also tried with just one T3 piece and still no procs. NONE zero. I can see when others get their procs, but I still get ZERO. I’ve done the 5 minute test 3x now with ZERO procs. I even check the damage meters for the proc to see if the visual just isn’t showing, still NOTHING.
Demon Hunters gets 3x the procs of most other classes
having 125%+ haste after an eye beam into Demonic is the reason for this. and Frost DKs are probably the worst possible comparison as they dont even stack haste and rely on CDs+ overwhelming power to supply them with some haste.
