Being as Dracthyr have new classes (and some neat new visual effects) coming, wouldn’t this be an excellent time to finally give them access to twilight dragon colors? It’s a bit peculiar they lack them considering what they are and how they were made.

Devastation is completely fine.
IDK why you’re all about spreading doomer lies about dev but it’s got insanely good tier and will scale just fine into the raid.
Maybe you should actually take a look at the numbers before you arbitrarily call people a liar.
Maybe you should also try PvPing as Devastation, and see just how that goes for you. 
The irony is that it’s you that hasn’t looked at the numbers if you think dev is bad. Head over to the evoker disc if you want current information.
Dev is at the lower end of the top tier DPS with current sim numbers–well above being bad.
Blizzard hasn’t cared about pvp in 15 years, so if you were expecting them to adjust course there your disappointment is deserved.
The “irony” is that I have, and I do not consider the numbers currently available to be acceptable for the spec in light of its many glaring weaknesses. I’ve looked at numbers from a wide variety of sources, as a matter of fact.
As for them not caring about PvP, they do PvP tuning fairly regularly. It just seems like Devastation rarely actually gets to benefit from said tuning, which I find curious.

Show me anything that shows devastation isn’t in the top 50th percentile of DPS. I’ll wait.

Also, top 50th percentile is not the same thing as being a top tier DPS. They aren’t even top 3. And no, despite your claims, Devoker is not tanky even when played perfectly. No one in their right mind is going to believe that. Devoker is and has consistently been one of the squishiest classes/specs in the game, and that is precisely where Blizzard wants it.
Nothing wrong with it being squishy in PvE, at any rate. It has comically front loaded damage and very high mobility. The durability issue is really only a PvP thing, though one could perhaps argue this is the price it pays for the aforementioned front loaded damage.
Dev is actually fine, bottom end of the top specs tuning wise right now and has good advantages for these raid fights. If you're not playing at the absolute highest level the advantages Aug provides over a Devastation evoker are massively diminished and Dev is very good.

Bottom end of the top specs does not = top tier DPS. Top tier DPS is top 3, which Devoker is not. Nor have I mentioned Augmentation at all in this thread.

My ONLY complaint about devastation right know besides the horrible transmog options in dragon form is single target in raids think it’s too much AOE focused. In PVP I have 0 problems with 1 vs 1 with full pvp gear.
