I am just a casual player and I just realized recently how the Reorigination Array behaves.
Before 8.1, I was enjoying Pack Alpha (2 traits) with Animal Companion. I saw right away how powerful it was on AoE. It is the same playstyle when I had Hati on Legion on Dire Frenzy specs. The trick was… get HASTE stats… stack them while maintaining high Mastery. The result was rotations were fast with DPS on pet’s auto attacks skyrocketing.
My Haste stats was so high that it’s higher than my Crit stats. When I wore my Archive of the Titans trait together with Pack Alphax2, it gave me 750 Haste inside Uldir. I loved it. My rotation was so fast. I never ran out of focus.
Then 8.1 came, and they took away my Pack Alpha and replaced it with Dire Consequences. I went back to use my Primal Instincts. Then ilevel 370 gear upgrades started raining on me from Warfronts, Faction Assaults, Emissary Caches… I started to get rid of my Haste stats as it went down below 14%.
Then when I came back to Uldir, I realized that my rotations are freaking slow. What happened? I look at my Reorigination Array buff… it gave me 750 Mastery. Oh yeah, my pet hits hard but they attack so slow. When I do an AoE Beast Cleave, it’s not the same as before.
I wanted to have my 750 Haste instead of 750 Mastery from Reorigination Array. I put back my old gear with Haste stats. My ilevel went down from ilevel 377 to ilevel 374 and my Haste stats became higher again than my Crit stats. When I went back to Uldir, wow… 750 Haste from Reorigination Array. I like it like this.
I think I hit harder on ilevel 374 with 750 Haste than when I had ilevel 377 with 750 Mastery.
Has anybody played this reorigination array in Uldir? It doesn’t matter anymore I think since the new raid dungeon is coming soon.
