Farewell my SOM friends! It was a fun ride! While there are things to complain about, the overall experience was a positive one for me but I am looking forward to new pastimes (and losing some of this COVID/WOW weight I put on) . Wish you all the best. /chargeeeeee

It was fun. I really enjoyed SoM, even more than Classic.
End game got to be too much though. I couldn’t invest the time it took to harvest all the mats and items needed to perform at a decent level. Server dying didn’t help any neither.
I still have hope for the next season.

I can only pick the same flower so many times before I start to question my life choices.
There won’t be a next season. SOM going to have less than 3000 active players by time naxx is out. I can’t imagine that’s what blizzard had in mind for it.

I looked yesterday evening and horde side had gathered about 5% of the mats so far.

Is it worth starting SOM? Haven’t played WoW for a few months and getting an itch for Classic
Only if you really really like vanilla and really really hate TBC
if we can’t it’s because of the dang hordies -.-
