TW and level 11 warr

ive been leveling a few alts through TW the last 2 weeks… and a few times a day i run into level 11 fury warrs that que as tanks and just rip though the dungeons and they never drop below 90% health… its it a new botting thing or just bugs with warrs at level 11? they never level up they are always at level 11 i ran with the same warr 3 dungeons and they never level up

Not a bug, that’s how the scaling works

Supposedly level 10-11 lowbie Warriors can just spam Whirlwind over and over and the mobs just fall over

If they never level up I’m guessing they have XP turned off and are selling leveling boosts somehow

It’s the new thing OP.

Peak gaming is a level 11 OP Warrior.

ah makes sense now most the warrs are from area-52 and theres always at least 3 others from the same server as the warr

Scaling issues. Blizz needs to send dungeons back to level specific terms. Everything was much more chill when you could only queue up with others in your level bracket.

It’s called “twinking.” Used to be very popular in PvP (before Blizzard changed how PvP brackets work).

The idea is you turn off experience gain, put your alt in the best possible gear — there’s a number of nice enchantments that doesn’t have a minimum level requirement! — and have a blast.

Twinking has been a thing ever since Vanilla. It’s fully legal, albeit controversial in some PvP circles.

I ran into a level 11 twink tank while leveling my 75 warlock. He let me tag along through a bunch instances until I hit 80 on my warlock. It was fun watching him tear through the mobs!

So if you run into one like that… sit back, and enjoy the show.

Creating an alt, leveling up to 11, and locking XP, all within 5 minutes, isn’t twinking :stuck_out_tongue:

You missed the part where I talked about gear and enchants.

The 11 warrior I met did that, so he was an actual twink.

Nah I saw that. You don’t need to go through the extra hoops though. Level 11s are busted even in plain ol looms.

Fury Warriors and Monks (generally Mistweaver but people who don’t know what they’re doing will do it as Brewmaster) at level 10-11 can enchant their weapon(s) with Lifestealing and spam Whirlwind / Spinning Crane Kick to trigger it several times per GCD.

Lifestealing is incredibly broken in the range of like 10-15. Anything after that it’s usefulness falls off insanely hard, back to where it’s probably intended to be. But for these 11 Warriors, it’s like 65% of their damage and make them immortal.

With the Timewalking changes in 11.0.5, 10’s Bracket Twinks are now able to get into timewalking dungeons. Because of Lifestealing, Fury Warriors (and Monks) can get into Twinking without actually having to put in any time or effort getting BiS Twink Gear. They make the toon, lock the exp, throw on the enchant, and they’re unkillable gods.

Right now there are so many people doing this because it’s by far the fastest way to farm Timewarped Badges or whatever they’re called.

You’ll see a LOT less of it if they ever nerf Lifestealing for low levels.

You’ll see a LOT less of it when the Anniversary Event ends and Timewalking goes back to being a once a month thing (You won’t run into them leveling alts through normal dungeons nearly as much).

I have a lvl 10 holy priest and melt everything with Holy Nova while also healing everyone (close enough)

I use this to farm bronze, tokens and try for the timewalking mount. I make sure to keep the rest of the party alive and that they can keep up. It’s great fun.
