Tuxedo Pants

Black Tuxedo Pants are the noblegarden item locked to the holiday.

Tuxedo Pants are made by tailors.

I can’t use Tuxedo Pants as they are locked to the holiday despite not being the same item. I’m sure it’s just an oversight. Please fix this so I can be fancy.

I suspect it isn’t an oversight, but I think they need to loosen restrictions on holiday transmog appearances, especially for appearances that don’t even make sense to be restricted to certain holidays.

The Tuxedo Pants, Black Tuxedo Pants, the various dresses and suits, the Bronze-Tinted Sunglasses, and even the Pilgrim’s Bounty robe don’t make sense as holiday-restricted transmog appearances. The Pilgrim’s Bounty robe is literally like a one color difference from a white item appearance, and the color difference is very slight and barely noticeable.

Restricting certain transmog appearances to holidays has never been a particularly popular idea in the first place, though at least some of them probably have to remain in place because of how they handled some things like the flower circlets from Lunar Festival.

Many holiday-restricted appearances seem to be holiday-restricted for the sake of every major in-game holiday having some, even when it doesn’t make a lot of sense. I think the witch hats from Hallow’s End are currently holiday-restricted too, for some reason.

Yes it does. It makes perfect sense!!!

No one wears goofy glasses that have frames that say “2020” from new years 2020 anymore.

Prove me wrong bruh. :joy:

I said the same thing walking into walmart…
Apparently they do care what you do or dont wear…

I was under the impression black tuxedo pants were being removed from the holiday restriction since they were added to transmog.

That is not the case, you can add them to transmog now, but they’re still locked to the holiday and won’t show up in transmog.

I wonder if you transmog them during the holiday does this transmog just stop displaying after the holiday?

It’s pretty stupid. They’re literally just true black pants and for some reason blizzard refuses to add true black to any normal transmog. You also can’t find any true black gloves.

All the holiday stuff needs to be unlocked for all year 'round.

So many posh, high class transmogs turning up since the top-hat was added.

Finding simple gloves is a challenge in general. Like 90% of Mail gloves are fingerless for some reason. Trying to find Mail gloves that look nice with the Nobleman’s cosmetic set that are not fingerless and don’t hide the cuffs of the Nobleman’s Coat is absolutely BRUTAL. It’s probably even harder with Plate armor.

They really, REALLY like fingerless gloves for some reason. For Mail, fingerless gloves are almost the equivalent to Cloth’s robes.

We need simple cosmetic gloves appearances to go with appearances like the Noblemans’ Coat and other suit appearances.

Interestingly enough, it seems every holiday-restricted appearance I mentioned save for the Pilgrim’s Robes had their holiday restrictions removed.

I still think the Pilgrim’s Robe appearance is similar enough to other robe appearances that the holiday restriction isn’t necessary, but I like that many appearances are no longer arbitrarily restricted to holidays.

It makes zero sense to do this Blizzard.

Transmogs are there to transform ANY time you want a certain look.

The thing that annoys me is that I’m only just finding out that they don’t even appear in your collection until that particular holiday comes around again… (was it nobel garden?)

So I had it in my inventory for years before I decided to look at them and noticed that it had a check that it wasn’t added to my collection yet.

So I put them on to “Add” them to my collection and then out of curiosity (even though I don’t do cosmetics at-all) I decided to have a look for them in the “collection” … couldn’t find them… and now I’m here confused as to why they aren’t present.

Now I’m worried that after all these years it being around - for me to just throw them away and not be able to see them again disturbs me.

Like, you can’t even have a visual reminder that you own them or not, that’s just plain rude!

And just to spite this, I’m keeping the tuxedo pants and jacket in my bags at all times.

In 2025 they are a now a transmogable consumable.

Congratulations, devs saw this in 2023.
