Tutorial for finding groups

Go ahead and get your level 25 into Duskwood zone.
As a human leveling normally, you won’t even have Wetlands fly path.

Go from Duskwood all the way to Silverpine. Could you record the vidoe as well? I want to see how long it will take you to get there.

Unless you expect someone to always summon you when you join last…

OP was posting on a Horde toon. Yes, “Horde dungeons” are harder for Alliance players.

This discussion isn’t isn’t about how easy/hard it is for Alliance players to get to RFC/SFK or how easy/hard it is for Horde players to get to VC/Stockades.

Spending 45 min looking for a tank and/or healer only to have the group dissolve is social.

ah so, as long as its easy for 20-30 HORDE ONLY to get 1 dungeon, we should disregard all the rest? Obviously, we don’t need RDF then. 1% of players have it easy as is for that ONE specific dungeon. Nice. Silly me.

What about all other hordies who are not Undead? They still have to run all the way to Orgrimmar, fly over, then gallop from Undercity. Not a quick trip either, Unless you expect to get summoned and make the rest spend 20 minutes.

Nonetheless, SFK is a both faction dungeon. You said I was exaggerating. Clearly you were wrong, as you clearly can’t even comprehend the issue just 1 step further than being a group of 5 undead players.

Wonder how people dungeoned in Vanilla with no summoning stones and no mounts until 40 (if they could afford them).

Those poor Alliance. paladins having to go to SFK not having a button to press to get them there. It sounds horrifying that they would have to strike up a group and sweet talk people to go on an adventure and make the reward more satisfying in the end.

What a barbaric version of the game.

We should all play retail with all of the QoL features.

^^^answer is right there. But you don’t even bother yourself too much, do ya?
We aren’t in Vanilla, are we?

People also walked to work 100 years ago and some carried water buckets on their backs for 10 miles.

I just assume that players aren’t cheap and would have tipped a mage 5g to port them to Shat so they can set up a hearth there, enabling them instant access to teleports to all major cities.

How long would it take me to get to SFK if I was in the middle of Ashenvale? 5 minutes.

You seem to be more knowledgable about how long it takes a clueless player to get to a dungeon.

Let’s just hope my party doesn’t consist of four clueless players.

Alliance closest to Silverpine is Ironforge. About 6 zones away from Silverpine.

Assuming you would even level in Ashenvale…Why? Zone is mad far away. It made sense in Vanilla due to lack of quests and lower exp gains, but wasn’t a thing since TBC.

You’re going off an assumption that every player has every flight path…what world do you even live in?

So, like I said, you expect everyone to have everything and give you a summon the second you get invited.

And again, like I said, you fail to see past your own delusions. Not a single character of mine has Ashenvale for a flight path. Not even this druid that was my first toon in Classic.

Let’s talk about your poor level 25 human in Duskwood that didn’t have the brain power to set up a hearth in Shat and hasn’t established flight paths in the north.

Having a 60% mount will speed things up. Establishing flight paths is a good investment. It’s not strictly about SFK. You’re now establishing a faster network to eventually do SM. Maybe you’re a warrior. That network will help you with that level 30 warrior quest chain. Now you can access the level appropriate quest hub n Southshore.

But, I guess that all seems like such a bother “just” to do SFK.

Lazy and short-sighted.

Edit: deleted first sentence… did I type that lol?

We all have eyes, keep your rose-colored glasses, I don’t need them.

ha, what? No, we are in 3.3.5 Wrath of the Lich King mate.
Where have you been? It’s been like 4 years since we are no longer in Vanilla.

lmao

and doing that Warrior weapon quest chain is also not nearly as useful as it was 4 years ago. Zerker stance can always be done much later as there is no real need to get it either right away.

You don’t even play the game mate. Perhaps you did 4 years ago, but most certainly not now, and defo not outside of 80 content.

Y’know, I just randomly used Ashenvale. I could have used any location. It doesn’t matter when you hearth to Shat lol and yet you go on and on about Ashenvale lol.

95% of the time, I am the summoner but that’s because I am prepared with the full dungeon quest log, have flight paths established and I start heading to a dungeon once I start forming a group.

Other clueless players won’t have the quests for a level appropriate dungeon for them, won’t have flight paths, won’t have a hearth set up in Shatt and then complain how long it takes to get to a dungeon and question if it is worth it (because they haven’t bothered getting any of the valuable chain quests).

I think it’s apparent that there are two groups of players here… prepared and experienced vs unprepared and inexperienced.

RDF beggars are lazy and friendless and display trash social skills in literally every thread theyre in.

But yeah. Its the games fault theyre trash at finding groups.

Just call them garbage and move on, you don’t sit and have full on conversations and arguments with trash do you? You usually just go “huh there’s trash there” and then walk away.

It they wanna stink like garbage and act like garbage give em the garbage treatment.

By your logic, you shouldn’t be pushing RDF. You should be pushing a vendor that hands you free BiS gear for free. Anything short you can file that under a “waste of time”.

Yep, don’t like getting ganked go pve server. Solves a lot of issues they might have.

What people don’t realize is that when you put that dungeon finder on you will be connected with other players from other severs. I don’t like that. That is what really hurts a community. Coz say if someone is a good tank from leveling dungeons and making groups , a lot of people will see that.

Also if they are a Ninja looter they will have a server reputation also.

I think what they have is perfect

did a /who 18-23 on my server and 6 toons popped up. Not one expressed interested in the dungeon.

Try fresh sever? Talk In a sever discord / forums to find people?

Every one currently is on there mains. Most people aren’t in lower levels coz they can boost (I don’t support boosting via high level or pay to level via blizzard)

I did notice a ton of people leveling on the “new” servers. I’d just level one up on there and if you don’t like it at endgame transfer?

yes and then get ninja looted by the paladin cuz they want to role play a healer in your robe.

From experience I can tell you that just questing is going to level you quite a bit faster than trying to get a dungeon group together prior to reaching northrend with the current system. Being a tank/healer combo my wife and I spent 2 hours getting 3 DPS for Sunken Temple after we got all the quests.

Sure but strictly leveling is arguably the most boring thing in this game
