Tusks of Mannoroth!

Hello there! I would like to get a blue to respond to the this question. Are tusks of mannoroth still available for us plate wearers? Wowhead says they’re no longer available for players? Can I get confirmation?

They still drop but it has a ridiculously low drop rating.

a rule of thumb if its not in the adventure guide its been removed

Got them on my warrior end of SL season 4.

I will catch ire for this but it was his first mythic run I was going for xmogs, figured ah what the heck let’s see what happens… boom dropped. Mind you I had run siege on my shaman about 30 times going for the korkron set before it finally dropped so I had at least paid some dues.

I think that’s because it’s Heroic version, in game it’s LFR, Norm, and Mythic. that was the time where they were messing around with raid sizes and difficulties.

I’ve been farming them since WoD across 4 plate wearers on 2 difficulties for about 8 years. About gave me a heart attack seeing this. I’m so sick of this raid lol.

I had a similar type thing happen with my rogue. 3 black temple runs and I have both warglaives

so does Dragonsoul (at least for the RP before Hagara and Ultraxion) plus being able to skip spine would be fantastic

This is not a good rule at all.

Some “rare” items don’t appear on the adventure guide on purpose but they do still drop.

Examples:

Tusks of Mannoroth
Scythe of the Unmaker
Taeshalach
Hammer of Vigilance
Ensemble of the Chosen Dead (only Mythic Head/Shoulders were removed from game)

All these still drop. They are just VERY low drops.

Not to mention, the Antorus raid is STILL not soloable due to Eonar.

In Mop there were several different levels of the tusks that dropped. Now it’s been condensed to this version:
