Ha, people keep telling me that. Well them Tuskarr do have wonderful beards and mustaches.
I can’t imagine a scenario that would warrant the required focus on Tuskarr for such a thing to become a reality happening anytime soon. I can’t imagine them having much of a role until at least The Last Titan. If it was going to happen, Dragonflight would have been the place.
I swear if they don’t add Tuskarr as a playable race in The Last Titan…
I’m going to make an encampment in Elywinn Forest and kill every rabbit, sheep and cow until I decimate the overall population of those animals. Where Eonar herelf will weep at the loss of such life.
Guess what they aren’t doing.
Creating a playable race takes a lot. They have create a wide variety of motions that are currently not done, have to create the multiple looks, make sure everything renders correctly with all armor types, get voice actors, this and that.
Simply because you want something doesn’t mean it is going to happen.
As of Dragonflight, Tuskarr have over 80 animations done so far, playable races have around 300 animations. So it’s not that far off, as for rigging, based off the models types from Dragonflight it seems like the rigging is at a base level for armor types.
As for voice actors they already have a female and male voice actor for both genders of Tuskarr.
Its not too far off to say that there is a good foundation for them being updated to be playable one day.
Only after we get the 6th Dwarf variant and the 4th Gnome variant. But those are only scheduled to arive afte the 32nd Elf variant.

I literally bought all 10k of those muffins on my servers AH awhile back lol. Pretty much my bank was full of nothing but muffins.
It’s annoying how many cool races players want, but we get some rehashed version of something instead.
Probably the biggest disappointment with WoW tbh.
Every expansion, there’s some cool races we see that are never made playable.
