I have been waiting since the announcement and launch of Taivan “the good boy” For there to be a forum on the tuskar community feast having people complaining like me that the soup never reaches legendary, But it seems so many people have it done. I have every achievement for Taivan done except for that one, and I did not play season 1… I joined back season 2, I just hope since its something no one does now…that it can be easily nerfed

I haven’t seen the soup elemental in quite some time. The times lately that I’ve been on track for it, I’ve gotten phased to a shard with much lower progress.
Does it work to be in a raid group? I haven’t tried it.
I recall mention that for S4, the weekly quest you get from the drakonoid in front of the fountain in Valdrakken will have the chance for options to do things like Soup, Hunts, Fyrakk Assault, etc - essentially all of the prior events make a comeback.
If there’s a week with Soup as the objective, should help make it easy to do, especially if you catch it on a Tuesday.
While we’re on that point it’s always worth reiterating - either fix sharding or just ditch it completely, because at this point it’s nothing but a nuisance.

Yeah the first week taivan was announced and put into the game, i had almost. 3 successful soups that went over rare at least, but i actually phased out of 2 of them… and lost the large group of people and progress… its very disappointing as you only have a small window of luck, and people being there.
It’s such an odd one to include in the meta. It’ll be near impossible to complete in the expansion, so any returning players are screwed.
They don’t care. They should be making some other old achievements legacy because there’s no practical way to do them nowadays, but they’re not.
And there’s no shortage of smug shills who agree with them.
The feast being part of the weekly quest this week (and whenever VOTI is awakened) means you’ll easily reach legendary due to the increased number of players doing it right now for gear. I reached legendary rank four at least three times today. Don’t wait till the end of the week just in case there is some drop-off in participation.

But if you need soup boss kill credit, you’ll need to get your tap in with a quickness, because it hasn’t been scaled up for either the higher gearing of S3 veteran players, and the sheer number of them you’ll see in a successful Legendary soup group.
In my one cooking adventure so far, the soup boss lasted less than 5 seconds after becoming attackable. I’m sure a lot of players in that mob missed out on kill credit entirely because they didn’t react fast enough to get any damage on board before it was gone.
Yeah, this is true. It can help to stand near the pot and have an aoe ability ready or prepare a macro to spam.
Something like this would probably work:
/tar Bisquius
/cast Ice Lance (or other instant cast ability)
Possibly you could also get credit if you’re in a raid group and others in your group get a tag. I have grouped with people on laggy computers doing mini-boss events in the cities to help them get tags when the boss would die too fast.
You could do an LFG group and gather people that way so you can get the legendary soup easily.
