So this week is MOP rep week meaning "Mists of Pandaria reputation gains from combat and quests increased by 50%. I can’t seem to find it anywhere if the Tushui Pandaren are part of this.
Now, they are listed in the MOP rep tab as part of the achievement “Pandaren Ambassador”, but their actual reputation is under the Alliance section in your reputation tab. Does anyone know if their rep is increased during this week and if they are classified as a “MOP rep”
Im obsessed with Mists and Ive never heard of that faction. Gonna have to do some diggin, lol
Alliance pandaren -tushui

Yep! But does their rep count with the 50% MOP bonus week or not
Put on the tabard and run a dungeon and see.
Don’t they have a rep tabard?
-Always too slow
I’d recommend grabbing a rep tabard from another expac and comparing them to see.
I put the tabard on and did Vortex Pinnacle - 4 rep a mob. Went into Bot/Mech/Arc (in BC zones) and got 15 rep per…interesting. I’ll have to get another MOP rep and see if I get the same results I guess
They are not. Those are now considered “classic” reputations.

I’d do it in the same expansion. Some places like BC will might give you some rep with the tabard on and still give you the OG rep tied to the instance itself. Try swapping the tabard inside the same instance.
Also you can probably farm the rep tabards faster in The Mechanar without the rep bonus.
It makes sense I guess since rep tabards were done away with in MoP aside from the new Horde/Alliance Pandas having Cata like tabards.
I still think rep tabards should never have been removed. Give people a variety of ways to grind rep. Some people don’t like questing… they like doing dungeons. And being able to grind rep in dungeons helps improve queue times.
I too miss rep tabards. I’d rather spam instances than world quests/dailies since I prefer to heal.
