I’ve disabled voice chat via my account settings, but I’m still having problems with long load times ending with messages about problems connecting to voice chat servers.
IMO it shouldn’t even be trying to connect to a service I’ve specifically declined. Is there anything else I can do?
No matter how you try to disconnect the VC it will still be connected to it so the server can test the connection, it just wont send your voice over the line. Your long load time is another issue like connection speed, your system specs etc., or most likely Blizzards server connection has been terrible as well lately. Thanks, but the long load times are not normal for me, and when it’s hung up at the end of the bar there’s invariably a message about something going wrong with voice chat when I finally get into the game.
