Blizzard let’s have the exiled prince come back into the fold and lead his exiled people, the ren’dorei. Let’s also give him some swanky new void powers, as they’ll certainly come in handy in the following, inevitable void lord expansion.

He’s making an appearance in the venthyr covenant. Fingers crossed he’s to be resurrected and returns with us to the land of the living. Void elves need more high impact lore characters. Alleria is a good start, but I would argue Kael is more iconic
He’s literally already coming back in the expansion to interact with us bud, so that threshold is already crossed. Even if he doesn’t come back to azeroth, he’s back in the game now.

Trolls > Night elves > Thalassian elves.
Void elves are a unique mutation, a subset of the thalassian race.
