Turn off notifications?

Where is the option to turn off notifications such as “You have new PVP Slots available” or the really annoying “Your Heart of Azeroth has an unused slot available.” This has to be one of the most annoying features in the game that I cannot get rid of no matter how many times I click it off…

I wish I could turn off the arrow on my mini map that is always pointing to Boralus to remind me where the Island Expeditions are. Yep, I am aware the Alliance needs azurite but I’m not getting it now.

To the best of my knowledge you cannot.

Open the PvP pane and select a talent to fill the empty hole.

For the neck it very well may be an endurance trait you need to go select.

Whether you want to or not is another story of course. However that is the only way I know to stop them.

There are addons that can hide the messages.

This has been driving me nuts for so long. I don’t want to pick any pvp talent or heart of azeroth talent. I don’t really pvp and I hate the heart of azeroth and any system where we learn and forget abilities each expansion. Just let us turn off the notifications.

So post in General Discussion where the people that need to see such requests/suggestions can take action, if necessary.

There isn’t one but there is an addon which can suppress it. A quick google search can find you the name. I forget the name myself.

The addon I use for this is called “Noitsnot” or No its Not (named for the “a new pvp talent is available” message)

Yeah, that’s Horde-side, too. More than a few times I went the wrong way to a quest because of it. Very annoying.

+1 for Noitsnot.

A little advice: the addon was originally intended to squelch the faulty warnings about PvP talents: the essence and azerite spam suppression was added later and is turned off in the default configuration. Once you turn on that option, it hides warnings about both unused essence slots in your HoA and unused azerite traits in your armor. AFAIK, the two effects aren’t separable, so if you’re still gathering AP to upgrade your armor you’ll have to remember that yourself.
