I’m not complaining about having voice overs during my questing, the problem is the big box covering the whole playing field. It’s mostly on my end from having limited screen space and having to have UI high for less eye strain.
Is there a way to turn off these boxes?
Need an addon for it, go for BeQuiet. It turns off the pop ups and silences the voices. You’ll never see them again. 
Cool , how about a resize or audio only option? It does add taste to some quest.
The addon MoveAnything lets you hide, move, resize just about any element of the wow UI. Audio wouldn’t be affected.

Cannot find BeQuiet in Curse. Is it still a thing?
I actually use the WOW UI so I don’t want to hide it or resize it. I just want the darned dialogue pop ups to go away like when the Jailer or the Runecarver pop up to tell me about something. Oh thanks runecarver for tellilng me a butterfly needs help, you just wiped me though because your face was in the way.
