Turn off chat channel without leaving it?

Is there a /command to do the equivalent of chat settings uncheck global channel box?
/leave is not what I want. I just want to turn off the display of a channel.
I couldn’t find anything in a quick search of wiki pages.
Maybe some /script command will do it?

Any ideas?

Right click the chat tab.

Choose Settings.

Tabs at top indicate which tab chat box you are editing.

You can uncheck these to make them not show, but not leave them. I do this so I can have a custom LFG tab because it is spammy.

Yes… I know that, I’m asking for a /command to do that.

Probably doesn’t exist.

I just right click the tab and move each channel to it’s own tab. Since /1 is usually pretty quiet (unless you’re in the middle of a large city), it keeps everything in its own tab, and you don’t have to see it, nor do you have to leave.

This is what I do also. My LFG channel is on its own tab. Then you don’t have to deal with it when your not LFG and there is no need to ever /leave LFG

I tried this…

RemoveChatWindowChannel(windowId, “channelName”);

but it either didn’t work, or I didn’t use it properly.
