This is getting annoying and frustrating. On my holy paladin for the 4th time i got a cloak from these events and it happens with almost all my characters. And talking to other people in discord i’m not the only one. Getting rings, neck pieces and cloaks non stop as a reward sucks. How am I supposed to “cach up” my characters if i keep getting the same items? Systems like these demoralize and make people not want to play. Today i got my 4th cloak on the same character; three of those cloaks are the SAME ITEM. It’s just not fair. Add a system that let you “reroll” the piece if you have one in that slot or add 3 options to choose from the cache. Things like this will motivate people to participate in these events. I’m personally tired of trying. It looks like devs don’t care about our time. All they do is RP every single ticket without providing any solution/explanation. Its not fair man.

If you want to “catch up” you can also do the content for gear. Run lower keys or pug a normal raid for loot.
You can farm dreamsurge gear and jump right into keys for loot. Relying on a single item from a quest per week isn’t catching up.
I’m doing that, every single thing that is available.
Can you understand that if a system rewards you the SAME item (from a big pull of raid items) every week on the same character is bad designed? I’m not the only one. if the objective is helping your alts to catch up? And its not doing that because its not giving you an actual upgrade. I’m not talking about one week of bad luck but 4-5 events in a row giving the SAME items as a reward. If you think that systems like these are ok i honestly don’t know what to tell you. So simple to understand. It has nothing to do with if i’m doing keys or not. When the system is giving people the same piece of loot every time they do an event that is planed to help them gear, the system is broken because is not working as intended.
Its not designed to give you gear. Its there to make you think you can get gear and hopefully push you to play more and for longer. It’s an MAU tactic.
Next patch they will be adding actual Vault access so that may help at least give you options.
My shaman got the exact same belt two weeks in a row, which happened to be the exact same belt I was wearing in the first place. I gambled with my time and lost. Twice. I’ll probably sit out the rest of the timeways event.
I wouldnt worry.
Next patchs lfr and world gear is better then mythic raid gear now.
You getting all huffed up for something thatll be replaced day 1 anyway. Unless you mog hunting
