Is there a bug with the Turbulent Timeways? I have seen one or two people with the mount already, and its day 1. I checked WoWhead and there is an exploit where you link several starter accounts to your main account to cheese the achievement or something.
From what WoWhead says, you make 4 trial accounts, and when you run the dungeons with a group of your own toons, each toon will account for 1 week on the achieve.
you just need the buff on 5 toons, no need for making trial accounts.
Did they change it? Because prior Turbulent Timeways events did not count this way.
No clue, if there is an issue you can be assured that those who do profit from crafty game play mechanics will be punished.
Just not in the way you or I would think, think of it as more of a nice jester on the part of a company rewarding those who figured this all out.
Maybe, it’s less work to get the normal way but if you want the mount immediately you can just do 25 dungeons now.
I think i’ll just keep a toon logged off with the buff and do 1 dungeon for credit next week instead.
Well, reading the achievement, sounds like it’s bugged.

people been doing it and are getting stuck at 4/5 after doing more after that doesnt change
unless it is doign 25 dungeons
4/5 would be
5 6 7 8 9 so seems youd need to do more after 9 until you get the achivement

Last one certainly did count this way.
It’s always been “gain the buff once a week on your account.” Not “run five characters through in one week to get credit for all five weeks.”
This is what I get for drinking the day away and not logging in until 9pm - all the exploits get hot fixed by the time I get around to playing.

looks like if u do 17 tw dungeons youll get the achievement I started to lvl my alt to 80

Technically, it’s always worked this way if you run 5 characters through at the same time (5 accounts) week 1. This new bug seems to keep rewarding you another count towards the achievement for every dungeon you do after 4.
The number of people opening admitting to using exploits on Blizzard’s own forum is mind blowing lol.
not sure how spamming tw to lvl is a exploit, this is how most people level
How is one exploiting just by doing TWing dungeons? Im trying to grind for Timereaver as I always do when TWing is active.
Nah, I got it randomly after finishing a bunch of TW. (Did like 9 TW dungeons on my newbie rogue. Haven’t even played any other characters since this event went live.
Oh good grief; no one will be sanctioned for this and it isn’t an exploit. I just did what I do every TW week and after my 5th toon finished their 5 I was given the mount. Nobody is going to be punished for playing the game normally.
But it would not surprise me if they do hotfix this.
Sounds like an exploit. I would recommend not doing this.
