10 games in a row, 5 turbos, rest enh + WW/ret/DH/DK.
Non turbo comps feel better, but Enh feels oppressive when paired with other melee with how much healing they do and how much pressure they could put out every 1 min.
Paired up with a warrior, it’s hard to kill anything, and turbo is getting a massive buff next Tuesday.
And this is from a DK’s perspective that’s supposed to be better against this comp, I can’t imagine how it feels to be a caster.

I played against this comp 5x out of 7 games one queue session and I decided to log off, even when I win it feels like I lost. It’s really fun seeing 28k insta healing surges.

They need to hit their self healing by 30 percent minimum. The only comp turbo should lose against is a frost dk cleave if they play competently and maybe a very well played fire mage caster cleave since they are pretty good at shutting melee down.
Where did all these enh shamans come from?? 3 weeks ago they were no where to be found. Now you can’t spit 10ft without it landing on 4 enh… its kinda silly how FOTM the community is.

Nah full geared enhance is free 2.7 currently. They just run at people and win games don’t even shear. It’s pretty pathetic game state because intervene protects them.
Intervene and hpali kinda dictated the meta this expansion. Then all the warriors found how to be broken and went venth. Turbo ret war war firemage it’s a pattern they all have the intervene and pali damage to back them up. R shaman is good too but it’s not as good as hpal with turbo or even a good disc.

fotm community is the worst community in the game, people getting ego’s for playing fotm and getting decent rating is the worst. All the s4 bfa destro locks are 1800 and say its because warlock is horrible rn when it’s actually balanced compared to last szn.

I think I would have a better chance if I was running TSG, I was going DK/Boom/Hpriest.
But with a caster partner, it just feels oppressive not being able to do much. Either they end us in the first 30 seconds, or we drag it out for them to make a mistake.
But the whole time we are running while they train one person down.
They probably watched EU AWC and got the idea for free cr.
Yea I’ve lost to a bunch of turbos who’ve never been above 2100 war enhance together is just too easy at the moment with the off healing enhance brings with chain harvest and msw.
As a Lock, every game is an up hill battle. Only able to succeed if the enemy team makes multiple mistakes. If I miss use one spell the games over.
Yea I’d say If you play a hybrid comp melee caster in this meta you are doomed unless you play war x because warrior is the meta and rmp because of the undisputed synergy. Any other hybrid comps get shafted by double casters or double melee just zugging the weak person on the team the caster for the cleaves and the melee who gets pulled in open for the spell cleaves.
I played hybrid comp to 2800 this season and felt like it was always an uphill battle every game. Even if people play bad a hybrid comp with no mortal strike will lose on average more than win. I’m happy I got as far as I did but I’ve accepted I will need to play meta to achieve rank one so I’m going fire mage ele hpal from here on out.

and auto wins spriest teams and has a really decent advantage against set up comps
hope they nerf intervene, condemn, and enhance healing specifically on other players but a smaller amount on the player

I just feel horrible when I fake the two kicks get a hex lasso and the guy comes out and insta 30k surges. But it appears the warriors supporting the caster can counter the enhance big time which makes sense. Elemental feels like it definitely is in a powerful spot but turbo is pretty tough to face at the higher ratings. Perhaps I just don’t run with a warrior boomkin or fire mage which why it feels hard.
Don’t know if every Enhance is Venthyr, but if you arent you are severely gimped.
yeah unfortunately it’s a game of attrition
typically without getting any good lasso goes you eventually just win on mana
warrior support and eles naturally high armor make you dying in goes extremely unrealistic
and warrior gets clean double cleave on the melee that cant take advantage of sweeping strikes the same way with you walking an warrior trailing
eventually turbo enh and hpal go oom with no real burst windows and just lose
same situation with warrior/mage minus the naturally tanky part with the addition of a little more control and mobility

but ele/mage is a pretty easy matchup for turbo
fire/x/x is really easy for turbo as long as the x isn’t arms
DK/Boomy MELTS turbo. Moonkin is inappropriately tanky for being a caster and is INSANE into cleaves, FDK Punishes any melee cleave too.
as boomy/DK? it depends who they go on. However, in general you just want to do a BIG GO every minute with beam. If they attack you/the healer, the moonkin can box out the healer with clones and rotate clones/roots on the team. If they attack the moonkin, it’s easy for him to kite/live with skin/thorns/bear form. I like to 2v2 the dps while the FDK sits on the healer (heartstop aura is actually very difficult to heal through, since it slows recharge time of instant cast heals like holy shock and bestow faith, for examples). During this, i can drag the dps behind a pillar with my healer who can HOJ one of them while we just blast.
It puts them in an awkward position Of a losing 2v2 while the FDK generates pressure for free and safely on the healer (and can grip/chains to stop him from helping his team). If they peel off to get heals/safety, I can freely clone/root. If they stop my casts, the healer heals for free. It’s just positioning.
I’ve never tried sitting on healer - I’ll try it.
I would just chain melees and try my hardest to peel the whole game.
you dont really want to hit the melee outside of a go; chains is huge and chillstreak is literally game-winning, but as boomy/fdk if they’re stopping clones you have no way of stopping the healer from just free healing, so you’re just doing damage for the sake of doing damage… But you have no MS so you’ll probably lose if that’s your strat.
