Tuning...Hello?

So this is what we’re gonna go live with Huh…

I’ve got fistweavers and tanks doing more dps than some DPS classes in arena… yep…

(this is on the beta)

They should make a decor piece with the rug they’re going to turn guardian into.

its also about the ravage procs, it can crit for 50% of the enemys hp bar

i dont know if it lost his pvp dmg mods or something

We can only hope that when they say March 17th tuning they mean the tuning they do goes live on March 17th. If the season launches in the state beta is in, it’s actually going to feel worse than TWW. There’s quite a few cheese one shots from rets/wws/etc. Some classes are just too good as well but the one shots are actual one shots, so it’s a problem.

Hopefully they do the tuning before the season itself is live and the tuning goes live with the March 17th reset on Tuesday.

Hotw in bear is absolutely crazy atm btw not only the rot it can do and the tankiness it currently has.

I can basically take 60% of someones hp with just hotw every 2 minutes, let alone a mangle/maul echo goes which does similar levels of damage.

Imagine queueing into Unholy dk/Bear/Hpal-Mw-Disc.

All of you slaves bought the Epic Edition 1 month ago for mum gaming housing.

Why should blizzard care about something as trivial as class design and tuning when they just got the bag.

oh yeah, i noticed it, i was confused why i hit a mage for 280k xD

Regarding tanks, I actually like seeing tanks in shuffle, if for no reason other than how angry some people get about it. They’re in YOUR lobby so maybe get good and you’ll be high enough rated to where you won’t have to see tanks?

I think it would just be more entertaining if tank specs in pvp were treated more like support classes, but I think that would conflict with how tanks are supposed to work in pve so it will never happen.

There are only 2 real solutions to tanks in arena:

  1. make them deal almost as much damage as a real dps with more utility
  2. allow the community to bully people who queue as tank to create a stigma about playing tanks specs that stops players who care about their reputation from queuing tank.

Oh, bear is beyond overtuned. We’re also in a weird spot where some dps are genuinely terrible and they won’t do tuning for another few weeks.

I think they’ve done an okay job with honor talents.

The balancing on housing gonna be the real tuning.

I guess I haven’t seen enough tanks besides hpal and a little prot warr to really understand how they work.

And I’ve only seen 1 guardian druid in beta shuffles so I haven’t been able fully grasp what they’re capable of. Seems like they’re good but they’re not knocking my socks off.

I don’t think bear differs too much because it’s sort of feral (fat).

Neato how it can sort of solo handle a base or carry a flag in bgs, though.

Also figured more healers wouldn’t mind them if they generally prefer slower paced games as lower damage dealer and/or more peels or defensive play on one side generally stalls out games. There’s always preferring more volatility but surprised a lot of healers get angsty. :dracthyr_a1: Granted it certainly makes the lobby worse for some healers in certain metas or matchups.

I don’t mind dampener games, but there has to imminent threat of losing at any given time that is only prevented by meticulous trading of defensives and offensives over the course of the lobby. Dampener games because the tank does zero damage is less fun.

Even though I said I like seeing tanks in shuffle, a good prot pally was really obnoxious because they did zero damage and could spam rep and had all these defensives for their team. Which is also why I said that tanks should do real damage in arena + have extra utility. I liked seeing prot warriors because they kind of had the damage they needed plus extra utility. And I genuinely hope that guardian druid is somewhat viable in shuffle. Maybe we’ll even see brewmaster or vengeance demon hunter too.

Ye. It wouldn’t take too much to reduce the aura applies to tanks, tweak their defensives to be not egregiously powerful but still more defensive than dps, have some utility and then less output and no ms (or a weaker one) than convention dps. :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated:

Bear will be good off damage alone. Brew bit of a tossup. I feel like Veng is terrible at anything other than jumping around and being annoying in bgs. :dracthyr_hehe:

I’ve definitely not played bear/devourer/fistweaver and just 1shot teams while being unkillable or anything…
