compared to other expacs when pvp was more active? no its miles faster. health bars drop in comparison.
healers are generally the issue as their healing output and hybrid output needs reduced again. most specs need self healing decreased.
both are skill issue as just about any dps spec atm can basically 100-0 someone in a few globals if played properly. healers (and overtuned hybrid healing like ret) negate this and make it almost impossible w/o the effects of damp.
I think there should be more self healing actually.
Nothing worse than having to be chained to a healer to function. That and with no self healing most 1v1 scenarios turn into a battle of who can blow their load harder and quicker.
And also with no self healing if it’s a 2v1 or more you’ve basically auto lost.

i agree but you can accompish this by just slowing the damage pacing down. im sorry but in an mmo you should not be doing 10% of someones hp in a global in any world. excluding like a 7 second hard cast that is easily stoppable.
if healer healing is shrunk and hybrids reigned in, damage then needs spread out with less emphasis on burst and a more stable pace which would fix alot of pvps current issues from the healers are immortal issue to newer players just walking away because they die faster than they can process to learn.

I wish the people advocating for 15 minute TTK would just stop. It’s been proven how bad it was after it almost killed PvP in BFA.
untrue, people would die, just not like its LoL or CoD where someone is deleted in less than 10 seconds. It would be a more drawn out and engaging scenario where you actually have thoughtful key presses and a intelligent game that allows for back and forths instead of what we have now or with what you suggest where you press all your go and kill or do it again in 1-2 minutes.
BFA pvp again was way more alive than anything past SSN 1 SL. BFA ssn 1 was actually super active and not very damp at all once Rsham was brought in line. BFA had issues with 15 min games and nothing dying due to the insane power that healers had while also never ooming. people actually died pretty quickly, but once a healer or 2 was added, no one died.
oh and pve gear (tank/healers trinks) which should be kept out of pvp.
You keep bringing this up, and not realizing why.
PvP was better to do for world first gearing than PvE. The tryhard world first raiders all did PvP.
It had NOTHING to do with the quality of the PvP. Stop bringing it up.
its an example because numbers overall reflect more people agree that bfa and legion was miles better than the crap we have had from SL to now.
pvp was actually fun and engaging with back and forths and the ability for newer players to jump in and actually play and learn because they werent spending all their time in the GY from dying so fast.
your just wrong. TTKs needs reduced, along with healer strength. pvp is bad and has been all SL and DF long since the TTK change.

Healers are why the game is in the state it is in. They heal for too much while never running out of mana unless damp is present or its a 10 to 1 scenario. Healers can heal at the rate they do but need to run dry faster and stay dry. OR heal for less but keep mana the same.
Healers being so far ahead compared to a dps output has made it so that the only way to kill anyone is with insane levels of burst and stupidly fast TTKs like we have had all expac long since SL till now.
One of the most balanced stats the game has been in? So why do we want them nerfed?
If anything needs to be nerfed its dps survivability.
balance as in most specs/classes can perform at the higher ratings sure.
balance as in fun or that healers are basically demigods running around dictating if you win or lose? no its terrible. Tons of threads and countless other from the forums to other sources of talk have been speaking at how gross healers are at keeping themselves and many others alive for almost ever unless damp is present.
and coming from a newer players POV, its super unfun and disheartening to beat on a healer for 5 minutes and never see them be in any danger of dieing let alone their mana bar dropping (unless damp is present)
This is actually true. Some classes are completely unviable targets and never killable without greatly outnumbering them.
Every dps does the same thing if they are good enough, chief.
I haven’t really seen any outside of inexperienced players that dont know to kick/cc healers.
Just kick them and kill them in a stun.

A few yes, (looking at you ret) but healers are the main culprit as to why people do not die until higher levels of damp or massive number disadvantages. Make healers oom faster and make damp not the only way to actually kill someone.
i literally don’t know how you lose a bg with 2 competent healers. Heck even 1 and the scales are so far tipped its actually insane.
Idk, as a healer I can go oom if none of my dps are good and lose the fight. But if I am a good dps I can oom the healers and solo win the fight if I’m on something that can hit a lot of targets at once.
Then don’t beat on them, cc/silence them and then nuke a dps.

The game is unfun for new players because it’s all about game knowledge and trading cds. If you don’t know what button to press at the right time you just die insta.
sounds like your lack mana management skills due to always trying to top someone from the YoYo meta we have been in since SL from burst cooldowns being gross and way to powerful.
id agree with this but healers even at 0% mana have enough passive regen and low enough mana cost to keep themselves and even another afloat for quite sometime (as long as damp is not present ofc)
Yes and if they do not die the healer tops them in 1 cast and or a few instant casts. Guess its time to wait another 1-2 minutes to do it again.

which is why no one pvps anymore and why pvp has been outright trash for quite awhile. We had a small reprieve from it in Legion and BFA which is why you seen the pvp community actually get a nice resurgence for awhile but now its back and ruining the game once again. its clear its not unfun and actually a low iq form of gameplay that has you basically afk until your “go” is ready to pop off again.

Ret is the worst self healer in the game on live(in PvP due to PvP specific nerfs on all healing and as a bonus some damage).
I don’t have extensive Beta insight to offer but…I think lots of folks on this thread are discussing the live game and those discussing TWW are replying to them to say how wrong they are. Y’all need to talk about the same expansion to understand eachother.
