TTK for dps is too short, tanks need significantly tuned down before arena starts

As the title says, TTK for dps is entirely too short, even at max honor gear. 1v1 could end in seconds, and god help you if you’re lagging vs a dh or rogue, ggs 1 second and you’re dead. Stuff like this HAS to stop if you want to retain players blizzard. This is not overwatch, our respawns are not instant. There is no reason a max level player should be able to kill another max level player in less than 2 seconds, in any situation ever. Gear absolutely should matter. But this is getting ridiculous, how is a fresh 70 in pvp supposed to compete with the headsmashers, playing 24/7 when full gear literally is killing new 70s in less than a second. This has to be fixed if you want pvp to have any actual relevancy again. I’m sure your streamers would like more content that lasts longer than a second anyway. This style of play i’m sure you think is encouraging the people getting slaughtered to gear, but its actually encouraging them to quit. They have no idea what they did wrong, and now are at a loss of words, how that warrior/dh/ret/monk/hunter took them out in .5 seconds. For the sweet love of Azeroth fix this.

I’ve pvp’d in this game since 2008, been around awhile, but I have never seen anything like this. The current pvp meta is encouraging everyone to play tanks. Guardian druids, are consistently top heals and dps of bgs, Prot warriors are literally untouchable by melee, Prot pallys have the same effect as warrriors but 2x the heals.

You’re literally trying to recreate overwatch to appease ~2% of the population, to what end have more people tanking? This DOES NOT HELP PVE a bit, if anything its taking the people who would be tanking dungeons, and having them faceroll people in bgs instead b/c its so easy. I understand we need tanks I get that, but this is an MMO you’ve completely destroyed the tank/dps/healer archetypes by making them gods, for a reason, that is actually backfiring in your faces. Simple fix to tanks in pvp, nerf dmg done by 20% across the board every tank class in pvp. And then nerf self healing done across the board by 30% in pvp. This effectively makes tanks play like tanks again. They’re no longer chasing people down like they’re warriors on Columbian energy enhancement, and they’re forced again to rely on defensive cds and healers to play effectively, rather than the braindead aoe dmg/heal spam they’re all doing now.
