I am still new at TSM 4 and I am trying to make a operation to post auctions at minbuyout. However I also want in the operation if item is not seen then it will post at market value. My server has a wide range on some items between minbuyout and market value. But I always want to post at minbuyout and if not seen the market value
Try using the first function.
first(DBMinBuyout , DBMarket)
If it exists it will use the min buyout. If it doesn’t exist it will use the market value. Also,
www.reddit.com/r/woweconomy/
is a huge resource for TSM.
I will try that. And at what percentage % would you recommend
This is really a personal question and something you have to answer. It varies by server, item, and player.
Some people post at normal prices of like 500% dbmarket. I don’t usually undercut those because that’s absurd for things like sinister gear. Nobody’s paying 80k for a 340 chest. To that end, people develop more complex pricing formulas that take those types of situations into account. Check out the sheymin, sheymax prices on /r/woweconomy. Those are a good starting point for pricing.
For min pricing I usually check crafting cost if it’s craftable and region price if not. that helps to stabilize a bit.
dbmarket can just be very volatile and manipulated.
