Holding off until tbc is stupid if you actually want to play classic. Tbc is probably 6 months away and that’s if we are lucky and get a beta not too long after Blizzcon late February.
Hey your not bad <3 if you want an understanding guild join our reroll on Anathema Aliiance tonight at 7 pm est

Hope to see some of y’all there!!! <3
Meh, when I rerolled from alliance to horde, it was RIGHT as AQ dropped. When I hit 60 I joined a guild with players who had been running it since launch. Instead of risking wiping I just told them “I’m gonna play it super safe until I figure out what’s going on”. I was really cautious and did almost no DPS, but I was learning. I think finding a guild who understands is important. Just explain that for a few raids you’re gonna be taking it easy until you know what’s going on. I think by my third week I had it all figured out and didn’t really stress about it anymore.
I agree with Hameth. I just came back after a year off and joined a guild. OP your focus should be learning fights and making friends. The last thing you should be worried about is getting passed over for gear.
isn’t this an oxymoron?
don’t play classic hehe, tbc right around the corner hehe…
history literally repeats itself
Just focus on the fact that everyone is there in the raid with the same basic goals. If everybody handles their respective responsibilities, everyone gets to clear the raid and potentially get gear that are upgrades for themselves if the rng/loot system works in their favor. If you have pugs/guild runs that are feeling threatening or not a team atmosphere, look elsewhere. The experience isn’t just about data on it’s own, they should expect that you don’t dps as high as others with higher tiered gear. Just find a casual raiding guild that honestly doesn’t care much about parsing and just focuses on managing to clear content after a certain number of attempts weekly. There are plenty on Pagle that are like this.
I mean if he wants to put all that effort in to get geared through all those raids. Maybe he can get carried to make it faster but it’d be a lot of work when you can just casually walk into tbc to get the same result.
