Trying to Raid as a Holy Priest

It does not matter if you have mechanically mastered all the fights in CN.

Everyone wants you for Heroic Council and then they throw you away like garbage.

Most of the Heroic raids are AOTC only, but you can’t do some of the fights because nobody gives you the chance to actually complete them.

The ones that actually let you in only want to do Shriekwing and Hunts and call it a day.

Not once have I been able to get into a raid for half the bosses in heroic despite having mastered them mechanically and know everything about them.

People just simply have this terrible view of Holy Priests for some reason.

So basically, I only enjoy raiding and if I have to spend 10 hours fishing for some raid to actually accept, me, the game isent worth it.

Sorry folks, im just bored of shadowlands now and Im sick of farming all normal content on raids every week.

Perhaps you should find a guild that suits your needs. Not all guilds are focused on meta class thinking and will gladly welcome anyone into their social group and raids.

uh…I joined AoTC group as Holy priest, nobody cared. We killed it.

I was 220 itemlevel, so I guess they only care about itemlevel and IO.

So far, ive only found guilds that go by meta for every fight. The casual guilds are too casual and seriously struggle on normal content while the more hardcore raid guilds either already have set players for their week runs and/or have set roles and classes for specific fights.

It’s honestly lame. It’s sad that I’m held back simply because of my class and nothing else.

Create your own guild. Search Communities or Discords for static groups. Start your own group finder group.

You hold yourself back. No one else is.

Naw. Im out. you go waste your time doing that sh**, im done.

You have no idea how hard it is to raid with others as a holy P, nobody wants you but for one fight.

Youa re talking out your a** man. go make a Holy P and try to complete all of heroic CN and get back with me. Unless you have a guild that specifically letting you run with them every week, it aint happening.

You arnt even trying to see anything from my shoes, just yours.

I’ve seen groups that stack 3 Holy priests…

In Heroic It doesn’t matter, if you have low itemlevel and low experience, Pugs will pick more experience players.

No, not For Sire, Generals, Sledge, ect. Only “some” fights because they dont really care until they get to specific fights.

look, it dont matter. im completely burnt out and not wasting hours upon hours of my day just to get into groups to do content I want to do.

Noth worth it, I have a life. Cancelled Sub. Goodluck everyone. The xpac was fun while it lasted.

You refuse to attempt to solve your own problem by creating your own groups.

There are no “shoes” to see it from. You won’t help yourself. I know people who raid heroic without this drama you seem to have created for yourself.

What Legendary set are you using to make up for what the group is (or you are.) lacking.

Holy Priests typically have great Group heals but run OOM fairly quickly healing single targets.

As I said, It doesn’t matter for Heroic. Heroic is too easy for anyone to care about classes.

There is literally nothing to heal, because the damage is too low, especially on Stone legion.

Holy priest getting buffs in 9.0.5. They’re mostly strong because of divine hymn, and salvation.

Can’t deny how powerful it is to have two raid wide healing cool downs.

Okay so I see that you are running the talent “Holy Word: Salvation” and the memory of Archbishop Benedict Arnold… who went by the name Perenolde to the Red Coats… No I’m joking …

Don’t you think that your chosen talent isn’t very effective for your chosen memory? I just mean that… Salvation with a longer cooldown of twelve minutes is supposed to be like a… “sure people have died but the twelve of us left have got it” sort of cooldown and your memory is a bit… shackling in that you can’t die in order to make use of your talent?

I have had two friends on different servers create their own guild for the sole purpose of group content. It has worked perfectly for them.

I’m not the one with the problem here. You can take your attitude elsewhere. Good night.

Honestly, there’s no doubt that holy priest is completely awful and absolutely worthless to play on anything other than mythic Sun King … but these comments … no idea tbh.
