If you are talking vanilla, thor is def an shaman.

You could do a Tauren as kind of a beta ray bill Thor…

Shaman were still strength based in Vanilla, not agi based wanna be rogues.

Yeah still salty about it especially after they took away my big 2 hander and gave it to death knights…

Definitely a shaman. Hes the god of thunder, not hammers

Make a Forsaken version of Thor. He’s undead, but still wields a big freaking hammer.

I think the character model that most looks the part is a blonde blood elf. I leveled a blood elf paladin once, with the long blonde hair, and he started looking just like Thor, when I wasn’t even originally going for that. I guess you have to decide whether the hammer or the lightning are more iconic to the character, as far as class. I think paladins work well if you’re willing to give up the lightning part of the fantasy. He doesn’t really use that very often any way. Thor is usually seen preferring to fight in physical melee with Mjolnir, at least until he loses it.
