Trying to make a build without rampage

thoughts? let’s make it happen

Tldr; Not possible.

The first problem starts with we not having an alternative spender:

  • Slam deals auto attacks levels of damage;
  • Thunderclap is prolly even worst than slam;
  • None of the above have any interaction with our kit like Enrage for example;
  • Not taking the Execute rage regen talent is a loss because it still has a cooldown and we lose Raging Blow stacks.

Not taking Rampage locks us out of talents like Frenzy, Slaughtering Strikes and most importantly, Recklessness. And even if we take Rampage for the sake of having Reck, the power of Reck lies on rage regen for having more spending power.
If we dont spend, Anger Management is useless.
If we dont use Rampage, Reckless Abandon is useless.
Forgeting the above, Reck becomes a 20% crit strike buff, wich is meh.

Other things:

  • Ravager is great not just because of Damage it provides and the Strenght buff, but the rage regen. Again, we dont spend, it loses power;
  • Onslaught and Tenderize is dmg + rampage dmg + rage regen, again 2 of those 3 things are irrelevant;
  • Odyns Fury gives everything the same way, but we lose the rage;
  • Annihilator gives Slam damage but makes it a builder instead of a spender. We are forced into Thunderclap spender, wich is bad.

The point of Fury, no matter the path you take (Raging Blow or Annihilator), is to build rage to spend it on Rampage.
A build ignoring Rampage also ignores rage, making it impossible.

This is why Rampage should be baseline because there is not even any option for fury to not take it. That’s where our warcry ability which would be a lust.

You can make it happen by leveling 1-27 as fury. Enjoy

my point is why the hell is this not a baseline ability and wasted by a talent slot

what a roundabout way of trying to get that point across
