Hey! I’m trying to download TRP 3, I’ve extracted the files, and moved both of them into my ‘WoW > retail > interface > Addons’ folder, like I always do, but when I try to start the game it gives me a black screen and I cant get past it. Any ideas?
A black screen before you get to the character selection screen or after you select a character and its attempting to load you into the game?
If its before the character selection screen, its probably not that addon. Addon’s don’t get loaded until it tries to load your character into game.
You can try some basic troubleshooting stuff:
- Delete the addon folder and download it again. I would strongly suggesting using the Twitch desktop app to make sure the download and install is error free
- Disable all other addons to make sure there aren’t any conflicts between addons. If this fixes the issue, you may have to do a trial and error, process of elimination, disable/enable half your addons, see if its broken or works… to find what is conflicting with it.
