I guess, I never stopped playing or should I say I never canceled my subscription since WoD release. I still have 5 months sub left, Will try stay away till new expansion or maybe 2 expansion… but if I see something like illidan return or some Garrosh storyline expansion am returning lol…
Its incredible to me how so many people, myself included, genuinely want to return to wow because of a bygone era that classic brutally reminded us all of.
Yet, we are perpetually locked out and the game is held up as this kind of puppeteered corpse of sorts. That the puppet masters know if they just keep jangling the thing, a solid 57% of people who grew up with this game will follow it’s movements. These people, again myself included, are motivated by nothing but hopium that someone (Metzen probably) will resurrect it with healing hands and return it to it’s former glory.
But after the way they treated secrets of Naxxramas this patch, I think it’s pretty safe to assume that the corpse puppet is going to stay dead and exist in said state.
Very poetic. Very much enjoyed reading!
No probs friend
Don’t force it, go do something else.
I feel that. SL’s covenants really helped with that as you’d be presented with a clear set of objectives with useful rewards that fed back in to the Covenant systems. The big mistake was locking each player into one covenant for so long into the expac.
Clear goals, immediate feedback, no distractions.
This is what I struggle to find now. Everything feels so inconsequential not only for the story but also for the gameplay and systems themselves. There are 40 things to do and I don’t feel compelled to do any of them.
This is what I needed, thanks!
