Trying to get ashbringer xmog (paladin class hall)

I was doing the paladin campaign to get ashbringer xmog for about an hour or so (the one that starts in dalaran and leads you to lights hope chapel) and i got the ashbringer, and did several quests afte rthat and then it seemingly ended with no options of continueing and i still don’t have the the xmog even though I have the item. I have read guides and am still kind of lost. Apparantly a quest opens of from one of the guys in violet citodel called “the falling star” which is the start , but only after you have completed a certain ammount of your hall campaign. i have completed it till there was nothing left but that quest still isn’t showing up, and in general i am kind of confused about the whole artifact item thing. Looking for any help at all.

Not sure which artifact skin you’re referring to, it sounds like the base one

If you acquired the artifact, you unlocked that artifact skin. Now that paladin can transmog any OTHER weapon (2h axe, 2h sword, 2h mace and polearm) to look like that artifact skin while in Ret spec. Any other paladin in your account of the appropriate level (minimum level 98 required) can also transmog the artifact skin while in Ret spec.

Legion artifacts are in a separate mog sub-menu.

Well I am trying to get ashrbinger:crest of the redeemed, but i thought I need to get the ashbringer the base first. I got the ashbringer itself however when I go to the xmog its not lisyed under my options for 2h sword, even though I have the sword itself in my inventory. From the guide Ive been reading I think its saying you need to do a percentage of the questline before you unlock the xmog itself? although i could be wrong on that interpretation.

So to sum it up. I have the base ashbringer item itself, but not the xmog available, when I picked it up I never got the" this item was added to your appearances" notification, and i did several quests after that untill there were none left , still dont have the mog in my list of available ones. And my ultimate goal is to get crest of the redeem skin. thanks

Have you checked with Khadgar for the quest? I don’t really remember what I did to get the Ashbringer, but there is a drop down menu with different types of weapons for transmogs, one type is artifacts. If you need that quest, check with Khadgar in the same place you went to watch them move Dalaran.

Legion artifact weapon skin are hidden behind questline. you needs to do certain questing to unlock the other tints, do all the major quest line in each zone ( wouldn’t take two to three days to finish). Instead of doing class order hall quest first, what i would recommend is - Do all the Major Questline in Each Zone including Broken Shore. Get Revered with Valarjar & Nightfallen. Honored with Court of Farondis. Do the good suramaritan quest line in Suramar. When you done with everything then go to class order hall and all your class order hall quest will be activated one by one. And if you wants to get " Balance of Power" questline artifact weapon skin, ( It is the best Ashbringer Skin in the Game right now) You need to do all the things that i mentioned above. You will needs three weeks to do this quest line due to farming shards from nighhold and emerald nightmare raid.

BTW its not listed on 2 Handed Sword Option. It’s Under Legion Artifact Option. The legion Artifact Option is below the 2d Sword Option.

Ok thank you so much this was actually my issue lmao wow i feel stupid. Anyhow, my question about the quests under “paladin campaign” abruptly ending and seemingly having no continuation still stands, because for the ashbringer skin i want it says i need to finish “class campaign” yet I have nothing left. So I guess I do have to do all the zone main questlines then it will unlock it in the class hall? thanks response btw

This might help you more figuring out what steps you are missing

The Look you want, if it is the one i think it is, you get by finishing the Campaign. WoWhead lists it as Upgraded Skin - Greatsword of the Righteous
