Trying To Figure Out Storm Events. Can Anyone Help?

Hello:

I’m just trying to find a several battlepets, that can ONLY be tamed during storm events.

I don’t play WoW much anymore. I pretty much lost interest in the game a long time ago, but anytime I HAVE logged into the Dragonflight, I have NEVER seem a storm event.

I thought that it might have something to do with the fact that I hadn’t reached level cap, but recently I HAVE reached level 70… and still no storm events.

So has Blizzard discontinued Storm Events in general, or is there some sort of quest line that I need to complete before they will open up to me.

If anyone could provide me with information on the subject, I would appreciate it.

There’s only one up at a time now, since 10.0.7

The front page of Wowhead will tell if one is up and where, or when the next one will be if it’s down.

edit: or at least I thought it did? I don’t see it there now. In any case, I think they’re up for an hour and then skip an hour. If you don’t see one on your map, just wait a bit.

Can you please tell me what page or link to go to to track storm events on WoWhead? There’s a lot of info on WoWhead, but I can’t find anything that tells me when the next event will occur.

Yeah I don’t see it either, I thought it used to be there but I guess I could be making it up.

You’ll have to just watch the map, or the ‘Tomcat’s Tours’ addon has a little popup timer you can enable for them. Mine says there will be one in ten minutes.

You want the “today in WoW” page… it would have a note when a storm is up.

At this moment there doesn’t seem to be; maybe check again after the top of the hour.

So the pets do drop in the Elemental Storm events. I feel like I see one happen at a time and it lasts for two hours, but maybe that info is outdated.

Also, I want the heirloom trinket, but I have never gotten any of the items to make it? How do I get these items? Is it just a low drop chance?

Yeah, I think so. I’ve seen them a couple times but I made the trinket in the pre-patch so I haven’t paid much attention.
